i'm guessing the nationals' starting pitcher has reverse splits based on the lineup the Brewers have today

I kinda forgot akil baddoo existed... what did he go on the IL for?
  3. RWeeksFan23
strike zone always gets huge for umpires when position players pitch which is dumb
  4. RWeeksFan23
genuine question, but what do you mean by this?
  5. RWeeksFan23
oh sorry no reason, was just curious. that's a random game for a Brewers fan to be at lol
  6. RWeeksFan23
why were you at that game?
  7. RWeeksFan23
agreed regarding the pitching of the Cubs, but they could always trade for pitching too.
  8. RWeeksFan23
also, did you notice when he was blabbing about Ortiz losing his challenge on that high fastball and confusing himself when in reality he won the challenge? he's so out of it this season.
  9. RWeeksFan23
in the minority but I agree with this
  10. RWeeksFan23
go back to Scott Linebrink even.

will games be able to be recorded? I work in the wee hours of morning and rarely have the ability to watch live.
  18. RWeeksFan23

I feel you. It feels like everything went right this season, (at least until the dodgers series), and we still couldn't finish the job. Just feels like we're never going to win the world series...

starting Jansen against the lefty snell would have absolutely been the correct call, and I would have thought so not even in hindsight. Unfortunately it's just not a Murphy-like thing to do.
  23. RWeeksFan23
Per wiguy94, Uribe has been worked so hard this season to the point where his velocity is down a couple MPH. Well you know what? It's not just pitchers that get worn down. Position players do too. The season is a GRIND, and murphy rode his main guys hard.
  24. RWeeksFan23
One thing about Murphy- it's not just the relievers (ashby, uribe) that he rode too hard down the stretch, it's also the three lefty hitters that are struggling. Yelich, Turang, Frelick. Those guys didn't get nearly enough days off in the regular season. Especially that 19 games in 18 days stretch or whatever that was. There was certainly opportunity to give those guys an off day here or there, and he didn't. And now they're feeling the effects of that.
  25. RWeeksFan23
Agreed. It's adding insult to injury that with it being bad enough the Brewers are on the brink of elimination, our own TV play by play guy is creaming his pants with every great thing the Dodgers do this series.
