he doesn't strike out often; however to me he chases a lot of high fastballs, and as noted on here, he doesn't have good instincts on when to challenge balls and strikes.
yep. it's a shame because last year the ball bounced our way all season, getting that first round bye, and then just ran into the buzzsaw known as the dodgers.
even if he doesn't hit the ball hard, I always feel good with him at the plate against righties. Seems to make good swing decisions. At least to my eye test.

yeah, the minimal upgrade from shaw to bregman isn't anywhere near worth the contract bregman got.
