they tried to trade for skubal; what more do you want them to do?
  2. RWeeksFan23
"this team has no power!" "we can't win a world series!" Go be a fan of someone else then.
  3. RWeeksFan23
seriously... some people are soooo pessimistic.
  4. RWeeksFan23
    probably. That catch was amazing.
  5. RWeeksFan23
That was just a good 0-2 dart on the black of the inside corner when he was looking splitter probably. Tip your cap.
  6. RWeeksFan23
    He certainly should have been.
  7. RWeeksFan23
too close to challenge not having the benefit of the box for him. Thanks to the wasted challenge by Lara earlier.
  8. RWeeksFan23
Darn. Matthews out of the game.
  9. RWeeksFan23
Senzatela isn't the answer either. He just doesn't seem to miss any bats at all.
  10. RWeeksFan23
so true. I couldn't believe he took that pitch.
  11. RWeeksFan23
Shouldn't Turang have tagged up on that fly ball by Bauers?
  12. RWeeksFan23
Chourio is so locked in right now. Just looking so confident, not jumpy at all trying to chase those pitches out of the zone.
  13. RWeeksFan23
Drohan hasn't looked right from the jump. The fact he's still in this game is mind-blowing.
  14. RWeeksFan23
this is turning into a disaster.
  15. RWeeksFan23
idk why drohan is still in this game.
  16. RWeeksFan23
which is surprising, because he's supposed to have a good knowledge of the strike zone.
  17. RWeeksFan23
Drohan just doesn't look right tonight.
  18. RWeeksFan23
Justin Upton.. that's actually a perfect player comp for Chourio. Good call.
  19. RWeeksFan23
im sorry, but Lara needs to be hitting higher than 7th.
  20. RWeeksFan23
problem is we have to WIN those head-to-head games. Those seven games are going to be huge.
  21. RWeeksFan23
Crow-Armstrong by far. He's the best player on the planet right now, excluding unicorn Ohtani.
  22. RWeeksFan23
Not gonna lie fellas, I'm getting nervous about the Cubs. They're about to sweep the dodgers. They have an elite offense, elite defense, and now have a very respectable pitching staff.
  23. RWeeksFan23
hard to give a grade until I know the answer to two questions: - do we win the world series this season? - will we re-sign May (and/or Romero) in the off-season?
  24. RWeeksFan23
Yelich may suck, but Sanchez isn't the answer either. At least not against RHP.
  25. RWeeksFan23
I know it's not ideal that May is a rental, but I don't know, maybe he pitches really well for us down the stretch, he likes pitching here, and we re-sign him in the off-season.
