the home run by Bauers not withstanding, the ball doesn't seem to be carrying today. There have been numerous fly balls I thought had a chance to be gone.

    big double-play!
  3. RWeeksFan23
the cutter hasn't been a great pitch for Logan today.
  4. RWeeksFan23
    Absolute incredible at-bat by Bauers!!!

Perez looks just like he did against us in Atlanta earlier this season. Almost everything he throws in the zone is on the edges. Barely anything juicy in the middle of the plate.
  6. RWeeksFan23
pratt was lucky there; he didn't see one pitch in the strike zone.

not sure why the Cubs aren't favored to win. Boyd should mow down that mariners offense, and the Cubs will put up runs.
  8. RWeeksFan23
dumb challenge. Todd tischner has been great behind the plate. Most umpires only stand out when their strike zone is a joke, but this dude has been perfect.
  9. RWeeksFan23
damn.. haven't heard the name Juan Francisco in ages!
  10. RWeeksFan23
    what is FOMO?

when trwi brought up the velocity, I started paying attention to it.. I did see a 95 in there last inning.
  12. RWeeksFan23
did the mariners decide NOT to challenge? did they run out of time?
  13. RWeeksFan23
jeez Kyle, that was right down the middle.
  14. RWeeksFan23
    'twas against the White Sox.
  15. RWeeksFan23
No doubt. He's soooo much more consistent than Harrison.
  16. RWeeksFan23
    did they really? damn
  17. RWeeksFan23
what bat would you have traded for?
  18. RWeeksFan23
Senzatela just doesn't miss bats. Has he induced one whiff in his time with us yet?
  19. RWeeksFan23
with Ortiz, Pratt, and now Turang apparently, hurt at the same time, this has the feel of the 2025 Packers type of season where injuries are just stacking left and right at the wrong time.
  20. RWeeksFan23
too close for comfort there for larnach. whew!
  21. RWeeksFan23
Pinch running Lockridge for contreras ended up being huuuuuge.
  22. RWeeksFan23
    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. RWeeksFan23
yeah he's overdue for a win. Let's put up some runs this inning to give Ashby another W
  24. RWeeksFan23
I know uribe doesn't go more than one inning generally, but I would have him going out for another inning.
  25. RWeeksFan23
I mean Yelich sucks, but Lockridge sucks too. I don't think he'd be an upgrade.
