i'm not convinced Misiorowski pitches in this game.
I could see it being all relievers pitching an inning or two each.
Despite his nice performance in game 2, I don't trust Miz as far as I can throw him. At least not in a win-or-go-home game.
I'm sure we've had worse playoff teams over the years.
The offense and starting pitching aren't great, but we do have a great bullpen, great defense, and really good base running.
could be wrong but I thought I seen murphy say at one point woodruff wouldn't be back till a potential world series.
If we advance and play the dodgers in the NLCS, i'd welcome Hall back with open arms. You cannot have enough lefties to throw at Ohtani, Freeman and company!
People make way too big of a deal about Yelich leading off.
Whether it's Yelich, Frelick, Turang... who cares? None of them are really THAT different from one another in terms of talent, skillset, etc.
Nah, Gasser was allowing a lot of base runners and his pitch count was getting up there, and with the righty due up, bringing in Misiorowski was the right call.
You also wanna let him 'audition' for a spot on the playoff roster too though, because there might be a situation come playoff time you need him to come in a similar spot and get a key strikeout or two.
is it really that upsetting that Durbin is out?
He hasn't had a day off in forever excluding team off days, and it's not like he's killing it at the plate lately.
