bregman should have struck out on that half-swing earlier in the at-bat.
  2. RWeeksFan23
Chourio come on man, two early at-bat pop-ups.

tough luck for Mitchell. That was a bullet.
  4. RWeeksFan23
    he's on a roll lately.
  5. RWeeksFan23
five batters in, Gasser looks sharp.
  6. RWeeksFan23
maybe if turang wasn't gimpy right now.
  7. RWeeksFan23
who knows how this inning would be looking if chourio didn't hit a lazy fly ball on a borderline strike on the first pitch he saw?
  8. RWeeksFan23
Murphy would probably say there's a difference between physical errors and mental errors.

what a disastrous day for our pitching and defense. now we're bringing in uribe when were down five with the Cubs series on deck.
  10. RWeeksFan23
why tf is uribe warming up?
  11. RWeeksFan23
    dude, Hamilton.....
  12. RWeeksFan23
well with Romero pitching today that means he won't be available tomorrow unfortunately. Would have been nice to have him for a couple of the games against the Cubs.
  13. RWeeksFan23
I mean, it's Hamilton. The odds of him doing any damage was slim.
  14. RWeeksFan23
Chourio was the only one that inning who hit the ball hard.
  15. RWeeksFan23
thing is, he wasn't 92-93 today. He was more like 93-95 and it still didn't work out.
  16. RWeeksFan23
According to Brian Anderson, Abbott was going to keep pitching, which I think is insane. Interesting to see if that stays the plan since this delay is going to continue even longer.

May is just oozing confidence all of a sudden.
  18. RWeeksFan23
Jeez that was an awful chase by Ortiz.
  19. RWeeksFan23
turang finally looking like the turang of old.
  20. RWeeksFan23
    yes, good call.
  21. RWeeksFan23
you always say that, but it's not that easy. Strikeouts looking will happen. Sometimes pitchers are going to throw a breaking ball, splitter, etc. out of the zone with two strikes to get a chase, other times they're going to try to surprise you with a fastball in the zone. You can't just literally swing at every two -strike pitch 'to put the ball in play'.
  22. RWeeksFan23
I believe the term you're looking for is cringe-worthy.
  23. RWeeksFan23
bregman has just been unreal of late.
  24. RWeeksFan23
miz has to get that fastball up. Made it too easy for Taylor.
  25. RWeeksFan23
should have happened a long time ago.
