  1. he rides his relievers too hard, *cough* Ashby *cough*, and rides his position players too hard. *cough* yelich, (that's why his back is giving him problems now), Contreras, vaughn, etc.
  2. Incredible performance by Misiorowski. Don't know why we pushed him so hard though, isn't the goal to watch his innings and make sure he's fresh for October?
  3. I mean to be fair two of those guys suck and generally won't pitch in close late lead games anyway.
  4. I know i'm late to the party, but it's good to see Bauers go yard last night. Hopefully that silences the critics on here for a bit. Also, it just makes no sense to continue to use Ashby seemingly game after game. This was a 4-0 game against a bottom-feeding team in the league. No need to use Ashby last night! Also weird to use Fedde for a few batters last night. As our long reliever, it would be nice for him to be available for today's game since Misiorowski will likely go five or fewer innings.
  5. Easier said than done. Hitting major league pitching is extremely difficult.
  6. hopefully it's just that gas station sushi you had.
  7. with complaint after complaint after complaint about Jake Bauers, I'd love nothing more than to see him go yard tonight.
  8. that's interesting. just using the ol' eye test, he just seems useless regardless of lefty or righty
  9. It wasn't dumb. Jansen is the clear-cut better player over Haase. Not being productive in a small sample size means nothing.
  10. bruh they just played 19 games in 18 days. Everyone is EXHAUSTED. A day off for them is not the end of the world.
  11. Jansen is not DFA-worthy. Sure he hasn't been productive with us, but he also has barely played. It's hard to get in a rhythm that way. Contreras is one of the many many guys Murphy runs into the ground.
  12. maybe yelich's back wouldn't have flared up if murphy would give him a day off here and there. Dude probably started every one of those 19 games in 18 days.
  13. his workload has been massive lately. he's lucky to have even pitched in this game at all, much less go another inning.
  14. Is Contreras ever going to get a game off? Murphy is straight up running him into the ground.
