  1. something's come up and i can't use my season tickets. lower level, aisle seats. first bf.netter to PM me gets them - i'll forward them via e-mail. thanks http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. I know on the vouchers for the season recap DVD that were handed out at the end of the year (which are to be redeemed in December), they had Braun and Hardy on those as well.
  3. Got my packet today as well. My 20-game Sunday Plus plan schedule looks nice this year - all 5 all-fan giveaways, 3 Cubs games (more than any other 20-pack plan), 1 White Sox game and the final regular season game of the year.
  4. I was at the game last night. Opening night, Saturday night game, upper bowl $10 for all seats, many lower level seats for $20, the game was free if you bought a 10-pack, and it was still half empty. I expect there to be about 8,000 people there on Wednesday (of course they'll announce 14-15,000 somehow). This franchise is in trouble. Nobody cares, and I don't think winning would even solve that.
  5. Why even bother making an offer if you are going to lowball him? Just another PR move so they can say to the fans "we gave him an offer, blame him if he doesn't want to play here" when all along they knew it wasn't a realistic offer for someone of his talent.
  6. I know they sent out a letter a couple weeks ago saying that renewal info would be mailed soon. I'm guessing we'll be receiving our packets early next week if not sooner.
  7. Brewers Press Release: http://brewers.mlb.com/ne...pr_mil&fext=.jsp&c_id=mil Seating chart with prices: http://milwaukee.brewers....eting/seating_pricing.jsp
  8. http://www.jsonline.com/business/33576304.html I'd imagine a full release from the Brewers will be out soon with more numbers.
  9. Very happy for Jenks tonight. I'm sure he wishes he could have done this with the Brewers, but I'm sure he'll take this http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. I have a pair of tickets available for each of the Bucks home games listed below. Yes, the Bucks will likely be awful again this year, but if you want to go to a game just for something to do during the boring winter months before the Brewers start up again, this is a nice deal. Tickets are located in section 219, row V, on the aisle. Great lower level seats. Face value on these tickets is $51 each ($102 per pair). I did the Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal they have going on, so obviously I paid less, and I'm selling them for even less than I paid. I'm asking $44 per pair per game. No shipping charges as the tickets will be sent via e-mail to you. Buy tickets to any 4 of the games and I'll throw in a 5th game for free. I can do PayPal or you can send a check/money order. The games currently available are: BUCKS vs WIZARDS - 11/5 BUCKS vs KNICKS - 11/21 BUCKS vs BOBCATS - 12/5 BUCKS vs PACERS - 12/13 BUCKS vs CLIPPERS - 12/20 BUCKS vs JAZZ - 12/23 BUCKS vs BOBCATS - 1/2 BUCKS vs RAPTORS - 1/5 BUCKS vs SIXERS - 1/7 BUCKS vs NETS - 1/9 BUCKS vs KINGS - 1/24 BUCKS vs HAWKS - 1/31 BUCKS vs ROCKETS - 2/9 BUCKS vs PACERS - 2/11 BUCKS vs WIZARDS - 2/28 BUCKS vs WARRIORS - 3/7 BUCKS vs KNICKS - 3/10 BUCKS vs HAWKS - 4/8 If interested, send me a PM on here. First come, first served.
  11. Put something up until we have more to celebrate (another WS appearance, etc...), then re-do them and leave the WC stuff off and stick with division/league/world titles.
  12. Good for Jack. Hopefully he doesn't take too many of his guys with him.
  13. http://brewers.mlb.com/ne...mp;fext=.jsp&c_id=mil MILWAUKEE -- The Miller Park FanZone store will be hosting a "Fan Appreciation Sale" beginning this Friday. Postseason gear as well as other select Brewers apparel will be marked down 25 - 75%. The sale will last through Sunday. The FanZone store, located in the Hot Corner at Miller Park, will have extended hours during the sale. The store will be open Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Fans may call the Brewers FanZone Store at 414-902-4750 for more information.
  14. Those long-suffering Rays fans who packed their park all year long are rewarded :p

  16. Not really a surprise. Once Melvin admitted that he'd be talking to other candidates, you had a feeling Sveum wasn't the guy.
  17. Thanks. I was going to go up to $800 for it if i had to. I wouldn't have paid as much if it was something like 3rd base used early in the game or something, but this one seemed to be the best as far as which of the 3 bases it was as well as when it was used in the game. I know what you are saying about getting it signed. The only semi-clean spot on it would be the sides, so I'll probably do like you said and just leave it as is. Maybe do some kind of shadowbox with it along with tickets, photos, etc...
  18. yeah a lot of his dives were the jenkinsesque "dive when you don't really have to to make the highlights" type, lol
  19. i actually ended up winning it for $651. a little more than i wanted to spend, but items like this don't come up too often. based on the hologram number lookup thing it was used for 1st base during innings 6-9, which was nice as you know it definitely got some heavy use (including the final play of the game - the ground ball to torres). depending on the surface condition i might have it signed by some of the guys over time. definitely don't plan on getting rid of it though.
  20. Sounds like the exact same merch they had during the 2 games. Nothing new. As for the sale, I'm guessing they wouldn't do it November 28-29 as the 28th is Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving, huge sales everywhere) and it would really hurt the attendance, so maybe the week after would be better.
  21. The fact that they still appear to be tarping off thousands of seats due to not enough sales makes me laugh. They say they'll remove the tarps for the WS as they expect ticket sales to be high enough to have at least part of those seats occupied.
  22. I'm a big Jenks fan and I'm happy to see him having fun with them and would be very happy to see him get a ring, regardless of how much he played. It's similar to when Big Dog got a ring with the Spurs at the end of his career. Always was a fan and was happy for him.
  23. saying all those nice things is just to butter us up for when he announces ticket/parking increases and the carry-in policy changes
  24. They now have wallpaper with the Octoberfest logo on brewers.com (along with another nice one of the celebration after the 9/28 game): http://milwaukee.brewers....l/fan_forum/wallpaper.jsp
  25. What was Sveum's reasoning for it?
