  1. some of their players who were playing over their heads offensively are starting to fall to earth. cough*Fukudome*coughcough*Ramirez*cough
  2. What a long day of work this will be today. I just want to enjoy some Brewer baseball, and nothing else really. LaRussa can talk about accumulating wins all he likes, but this series could end up being a turning point in both these team's seasons. Rough up Lohse please.
  3. 89 pitches. Is Harden done? Hopefully Lou lets him throw about 120.
  4. Nothing like rocking the Cards bullpen. I'm almost glad Torres blew that save. This is just SWEEEEEET! The shot of LaRussa on ESPN was precious.
  5. Nice stop Miles. Nice throw too. Thanks for the insurance.
  6. Bill Hall!!1 Have a game! I think he wants his full time job back.
  7. Good Lord Rickie! You gotta make that play!
  8. Torres needed to pick that one. Then Weeks needed to pick that one. C'mon Torres, bear down!!!1!11
  9. Harden at 25 pitches already in the second inning. I say he doesn't make it through 6.
  10. Way to be CoCo. Good to see you doing well at the Great American Smallpark. Good for you.
  11. If I was a Rockies fan, I would have to think that game is over. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  12. Shocking. Brian likes to go for the trifecta.
  13. Bill Hall needed to score on that drive by Kendall. He assumed the catch on a tough play.
  14. I don't see how Ankiel doesn't put that throw into the second deck.
  15. I just thought to myself, its about time Mota and Gagne pitch scoreless innings. Who knew it would be in the same game, against the Cards no less.
  16. Yes... Steve Phillips ranks right up there with Kruk in the last people I want to listen to talk baseball.. I think that they employ Phillips and Kruk as an equal opportunity law to offset Gammons.. 2 idiots (Kruk, Phillips) = 1 great (Gammons).. Kurkjian is offset by Vina. I would gladly listen to Steve Phillips over Brian or Bill.
  17. I am going to have to leave my hotel room now. This has a good chance of being really bad.
  18. Is a point ever going to be reached where Brewers fans stop with the silly "McDung" comments? Its very witty. You see, it rhymes.
  19. Doug Melvin was in the ESPN booth last inning when Rickie blasted that 2 run HR, and Mark Shipiro was on the phone and they were discussing the trade. Way too much to pay attention to in this telecast. Such a change from Bill and Brian, both of whom I try to not listen to.
  20. "Sabathia's Brewers lead by one." Wow, that didn't take long.
  21. One of those "on bases" was because of a ball that didn't hit him. I won't hold my breath for Weeks to turn the corner. I would play the better player, but that's just me.
  22. That lineup seems to be missing something. Oh yeah... lefties.
