  1. If you have the "Fan's choice" you can see your ticket locations on the website via the My Tickets link (at least I can).
  2. The Twins have signed a deal with Fort Myers to renovate the facilities so they will not be moving.
  3. Great advice everyone. Just returned from the trip. Used the tips to go to Brewers batting practice on Wednesday before the game in Surprise. Watched the Minor League players take infield and BP for a while and it was cool putting faces to names and then watched the Big League BP at the main facility. Afterwards Braun signed for everyone who wanted and was very friendly and gracious. It was cool to see. So anyway no photo ops with players but it was a great experience and it was great to hear and see baseball again. I should also say that we headed to Tuscon for a day and a half and hiking Saguaro National Park and checking out the Desert Museum was awesome and the highlight of our trip and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who heads down to ST.
  4. Thanks for all the info. We're staying at the LaQuinta on Black Canyon Hwy as it reviewed okay was reasonably prices and sort of central to the two stadiums, Camelback and Piestewa for some morning exercise, and downtown (We're going to a Suns game and of course Pizzeria Bianco). Here's another question. Does anyone know if they allow access to the field during offseason stadium tours at Chase? The reason I ask if that as we visit stadiums I have been doing stadium tours whenever possible and I have pictures of myself in like 18 dugouts but when we toured Chase during the season we were not allowed dugout access. I might retake the tour just for the photo op.
  5. Thanks for the help. I asked about the pictures because my cousin always goes to the Twins training camp in Fort Myers and always seems to come home with pictures of her and players but she is an attractive woman so maybe that means my wife would have a better chance She loves Carlos Gomez "Gomey" so I was just hopeful.
  6. I have seen topics like this in the past but can't find them now and at the time I didn't pay much attention at the time because I have never really contemplated going down to Phoenix but I just found a cheap last minute flight and am going to go down for a few days next week. By the way I was able to get two front row tickets behind the batters box in the game at the Royals Surprise Stadium location for a total of $26 with fees and delivery through Stubhub. Amazing. The other two games I'm going to attend are at the home Maryvale location and I was just planning on getting lawn tickets. My question is what time do the Brewers practice before a 1:00 game and what kind of access do fans have? Also, as someone who has zero interest in autographs is there any chance for access to players who may stop and pose for pictures? If so where is the best place to hang out before the games or even during the games for access to the players? Also, any suggestions on best Mexican restaurant in the area? Thanks in advance.
  7. Is there a way to download it or do I need to listen to it from the site? I would be most inclined to listen at the gym.
  8. I just realized that I have had no chance of winning any of the years because the rules say that the winner will be notified by phone and anyone that they cannot reach in 2 days the drawing will be reheld. I give the Brewers and most businesses that I don't want calling me the number to my fax machine which will not ring through ) Ooops.
  9. This is probably the worst group of prizes of all three years. Is this a legitimate drawing or are the Brewers just choosing? I have never seen a picture of a big bucket with all our names in it?
  10. Hardy was dreadful at the plate last year. .282 OBP.
  11. I don't think there will be much demand for Loe so I am going to assume he comes back at a discount.
  12. 10 bobblehead days?!?
  13. Detroit more or less backed into they play-offs when the White Sox decided they didn't want to go so I have a hard time rooting for them.
  14. I believe the shipping fee is called a "service" fee which is why I wasn't sure if we will get it back. I would assume they did pay to have the tickets printed etc so who took on that expense?
  15. If the tickets aren't going to be mailed does this mean we will get back the $25 shipping fee because if we don't I would rather have the tickets because "phantom" tickets eventually do have some value.
  16. The Cardinals play the Astros tomorrow. Thursday is the day where we can pick up the half-game.
  17. This morning I thought we might be able to flip Marcum and KRod for something (salary relief or whatever) but I guess that's back out the window.
  18. I don't know what tapatalk is but I use Firefox and I have noticed that it keeps logging me out when I enter the in game thread. The main reason I noticed this is because I have a number of people blocked but I started seeing their posts again a couple/few weeks back. Lately it has been less of a problem with nobody really using the IGT's.
  19. I am waiting for everyone to explain to me (again) how he isn't injury prone because this particular injury doesn't count.
  20. There is no right right answer as different people like to drink after the game or tailgate before or look at pretty scenery etc. but I've been to 25 of the current parks and 30 something overall and my favorites are: Miller Park Kauffman Stadium (although we only go in April or September because of the oppressive heat) PNC Park Fenway Park At & T Park I'm a huge fan of tailgating and giant scoreboards which is why Miller and Kauffman rate so highly in my book.
  21. JJ has been horrible this season and wasn't very good for the Twins in 2010 either and makes a TON of money.
  22. I was walking by the Pfister last year when the Twins bus was loading and there were like 5 or 6 fans wearing Twins clothes looking for autos and not one player stopped to sign. It seemed almost rude as they were behind a rope 5 feet away and there were so few of them and the players wouldn't even look their way.
  23. I would have to think that Axford has to be kicking himself for not getting his long term deal done.
  24. I'm beginning to think the DL or the minors are about the only options
