Sheffield is 5'10" and has been OK. McKenzie is 6'5" and has been dominant Plus there is this in Sheffield's past (underaged drinking and criminal trespass) http://www.cleveland.com/tribe/index.ssf/2015/02/cleveland_indians_justus_sheff.html Very different prospects
Justus Sheffield stats http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?player_id=656954#/career/R/pitching/2016/ALL Tristan McKenzie stats http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?player_id=663474#/career/R/pitching/2016/ALL Francisco Mejia plus McKenzie would be amazing
Mejia just grounded out after fouling off 6 pitches If Mejia was to be included in a trade that was going to be announced any minute now, I doubt he'd be playing, correct?
Mejia listed in the Lynchburg Hillcats lineup tonight, as a DH (currently on a 41 game hit streak btw) http://www.milb.com/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2016_07_30_lynafa_wswafa_1&mode=gameday
Francisco Mejia is currently hitting .344 in A ball.... I'd be beyond thrilled to get him! http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?player_id=642336#/career/R/hitting/2016/ALL
Fun reading this thread, I appreciate all the contributions, thank you! Looking forward to what seems like an imminent trade and the resulting explosion of instant reviews of good and bad from Brewerfan.net
Profar & Gallo. Neither are sure things, although Profar is playing well this year. Profar becomes a free agent in 2020. So the Crew would have him for 2-2.5 years. Gallo seems like a long shot to be anything more than Mark Reynolds Neither strike me as Stearns type guys. Gallo seems like a Doug Melvin type prospect. He has power. Profar seems like a Stearns type except that he isn't controllable for much longer. He is arbitration eligible next year.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the Brewers CF of the future isn't within the organization as of yet. Hope I'm wrong (Brett Phillips) and wrong again (Corey Ray, to me, is a corner OF)
