  1. As of now Nashville listing Gasser as their probable
  2. So this is what it feels like when the other team errors their way to a big inning for us. Anderson also developing shoulder soreness so we can recall Myers tomorrow.
  3. 5.48 So he's above average. I think the overall statistic includes openers and such so probably a little below average if you could compare to "rotation regulars".
  4. This is showing 5.22 IP https://www.statmuse.com/mlb/ask/average-innings-pitched-by-starting-pitchers-in-2025
  5. Don't think so. Seems he's always been either an All Star or an Atlantic Leaguer at the plate, nothing in between.
  6. Was just going to say Durbin's August looking a lot like Durbin's May. Never mind for now! Bauers' speed helping to score easy there.
  7. Gonna give the obligatory "that bottom of the order is brutal" in hopes it leads to a pile of runs tonight.
  8. Rodriguez is on the roster but hasn't been good in AAA since the rain delay game and subsequent injury It would be normal rest for Patrick Myers would be the best pick, but will require a phantom IL placement to bring up Gasser would be the dark horse, but he only just went 4 IP for the first time on Tuesday so it would be a short start. Edit: Seems to be a fairly credible source saying it's the dark horse
  9. If I were an opposing manager, I'm taking the L/L Yelich matchup over putting another man on for R/R Vaughn then Frelick.
  10. Sal's got some ups and downs today. Great AB...DIGP. Great hit...horrid baserunning mistake.
  11. Quero is also looking ready. Doesn't yet have the "pop" they traded for Jansen to get, but nor have we seen any of that poppage.
  12. Alternatives to Mona at short for this time seem slim... Anyone on the 26 man just forces Seigler in, which isn't better offense than Mona and downgrades one if not two positions defensively. Zamora ain't it. Pratt is having a hot month, but putting a guy in the majors who took until August to figure out AA is crazy. We'd be last in order for waiver claims for anyone trying to shed salary. Gambling on a AAAA/washed up veteran who refused/opted out of AAA isn't very enticing. Prospects could be traded for a blocked prospect or solid AAA player not on a 40-man roster. Though again, counting on an MLB debut to be an upgrade is foolish.
