  1. Wonderful one strike strikeout for Gamel there.
  2. A hit and a run in the second inning. It's tough to process showing up in the first third of the game!
  3. Yep. Tons of potential, but not sure how patient they'll be with him. Toronto ran out of patience before even putting him in AA. Suppose it's time for Wahl or Feyereisen to get their second chance.
  4. Rock pointing out the cutout of the guy "with the Twins hat". That eliminated literally one
  5. RHP Corey Knebel has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a strained left hamstring. INF/OF Mark Mathias has been recalled from the Aternate Training Site.
  6. Plus this happened live last night. Not some tape dug up from 1995 or a tweet from 2011, and he's also not a 16 year old trying to be edgy. I doubt anyone wants to say that in the workplace, have all their customers overhear and test the consequences.
  7. Fingers crossed the two years to really bounce back line is legit for Knebel. Sad to watch currently. Claudio, on the other hand, is quietly having a nice season. Seems to work better when he's not making 12 appearances a week.
  8. Good debut. Threw strikes, couple of harmless hits. Lot of potential for a 24 year old who hadn't even spent a full season in AA. POSITION PLAYER PITCHING ALERT - and it's not our guy for once!
  9. Got to like that he pitched to the score and didn't start walking guys. Give him one more.
  10. Really nice start for Anderson on our side. Saves Freddy from a lengthy piggyback and also the rest of the pen after yesterday.
  11. Their pitching has been especially dreadful tonight. Though the offense usually makes average pitching look fantastic so at least they're taking advantage of it.
  12. Pitcher running into a brick wall, throwing an 0-2 meatball. We feel you, Twins fans.
  13. Did he just assume they would call a very liberal use of the infield fly rule? That was a poor assumption.
  14. This is about as good a lineup as can be fielded with the players available. More left-handed starters please.
  15. Amir Garrett but wild and with a below average slider instead of an elite one. Difference between trying to be in the majors and being one of the better relievers in the game.
  16. What is a new coach going to do? "Hey, all you guys with mediocre (at best) track records... go hit better..!" A new voice can help and we can't downgrade from the clueless guy we have now. The inability to hit in the first three innings of any game also suggests ineptitude in preparing the hitters for the pitcher they'll be facing. Also would wonder why CC wouldn't call up a minor league coach to help, since he has the excuse to do it while Murph is out without firing anyone mid-season.
  17. Pineapple would be blocking all these throws in the dirt. He'd probably have a hit and have gotten Burnes to keep the run off the board as well.
  18. Well the first part has happened with every Brewers hitter the entire night (and Gamel for the last 3 1/2 weeks) so you can let yourself off the hook on that one.
  19. All four Cubs losses at Wrigley, and 4/6 overall. It's fun being the thorn in their side. Can we game 61 them for the division?
