Estrada in Colorado... http://mlb.mlb.com/assets/images/3/8/4/76394384/cuts/140x140_HRD_2014_dhbaruj8_degw3yni.jpg I really don't like this change to move it up a few weeks ahead of the All Star Game.
Got to be the last straw to go with Nelson or Fiers...or even Mills, given it's an opt-out day for him. The home run issue is just absurd at this point. Luuuuuuc...got a chance for the offense to still take this series.
The radio guys need to shut up about the review and get in the present. Totally unbearable to listen to when they repeat the same thing and won't let it go an inning later.
I'd imagine television drives it more than anything. More eyes on the set for a 7 PM start after dinner and the 6:00 news? Don't know. But being in EST, I'd be all for earlier starts since home games often go past my bedtime.
Very likely. With the position players getting healthy, the last spot between Herrera and Falu is the second option off the bench at every position except SS, where it's the first and only backup.
Crazy series of blowouts. Lohse could go the distance unless Ron wants to get someone some work. Guess Wang has probably been overworked lately, though that's a good thing. Good, need to zip up the Scooter haters for awhile.
Three innings in two days and a simulated game earlier in the week...Wang's ERA is down to 13.50 now. Though all the exertion may mean he has to spend some time on the DL.
