  1. Pitch count is actually a bit high. I think he goes 5, knowing that they'll be able to take a short tune-up outing Wednesday or Thursday.
  2. Starting to see why Arnold was rumored to be contemplating making a claim on Donaldson's contract to get him. Fortunate he convinced him to come on board (and stuck the Yankees with the bill).
  3. Possibility of clinching tomorrow!
  4. Any fans of this 90's banger? 😃
  5. Huge Badger Mutual Insurance Run. TT doing good things for this lineup.
  6. If you told me at the beginning of the season that Wilson would have a 2.59 ERA in September, I'd have told you he's been on the IL since mid-April. What a year he's had.
  7. Jacob Barnes still in the league. That book was a bore.
  8. Given they seem to play great ball against us, hopefully empty to the point that they get passed by the Reds or the Marlins.
  9. Still have a grudge against Stearns for declining his option. One of my favorites.
  10. Since the great Braunie was taken and someone has to do it, I'll be that guy.
  11. I gladly take the fat L in being underwhelmed with the Canha acquisition compared to the other bats in play at the deadline.
  12. Casual striking out of the side by the best closer in the game.
  13. I remember one of these to announce an upgrade to concessions. Can they top that standard for lameness?
  14. It's weird given CC was the king of the 37 man September roster. Now there's only two extra spots available and it's like they just self-imposed a one man reduction to the roster.
  15. Milner, Peguero, Viera, or even Megill or Wilson for the third day were all ahead of Chafin on my list of options.
  16. CC laying a major egg if Chafin blows it with Hoby available.
  17. This is one where I kind of miss the old extra innings. Could have been one of those epic 1-0 17 inning games where both teams lose tomorrow's starters. Yeah, it'd be terrible for us in this stretch of games.
  18. If and when we lose, can they at least get a hit? Losing while not giving up hits is too much to take.
  19. A Schwarber and Domingo Santana outfield would make for the hardest working center fielder ever.
  20. Is Counsell aware that he didn't put Bryse Wilson in the game just now?
  21. The brutal 17 game+day stretch coming up is reason enough not to push the starters.
  22. Low risk, low cost, high ceiling. Smart move.
