  1. I was just about to post a similar thread, I'm just transferring my files from itunes now and is taking forever. The one application that I was looking for w/o any success was the ability to sync up Google Calendar w/the iTouch. Is this possible? Also a big fan of Pandora so far.
  2. I'm a 6'4" lefty that had/has a 4-seamer that would sit in the high 70's and top out at 82 with a lot of tailing movement. Also had a 12-6 curve. Wished someone would've given me a shot to play in college.... Oh well.
  3. Anybody attend the Vuckovich signing on Saturday at Legends of the Field? Just wondering how it went... I wasn't able to attend, so I dropped off a retro hat for him to sign. To my surprise, he even added '82 CY' to it! According to the owner, he only added that inscription to 2 other items that day, one of them being an old brick from County Stadium for the owner's personal collection. I was very pleased with how things turned out, wished I could have been there.
  4. What day / time is this again? Where abouts in the stadium is this held also?
  5. I was wondering for those who attended, how did it go? I ended sending in a few things via mail order to have signed by Don Sutton & Molitor and was wondering what the standard delivery time is to receive my items back, as it's been over a week now. Starting to get a bit nervous now if you couldn't tell. Thanks.
  6. Yeah, I've dealt with a few people on here - mattsr0625, billyhallfan, and Pedro - on numerous occasions and couldn't have been happier with the way things have turned out. I know there have been others as well, but can't remember names. It's a true testament to this website that we can operate on complete trust amongst one another. At least I feel that way!
  7. I'd take the Lombardi and the other 3 Packer FC bobbles off your hands. Let me know.
  8. I've got some blank ROMLB's that I can trade. I'm not sure off hand how many I have, probably are 6, give or take. I might have a couple auto'd balls I'd be willing to get rid of. I can look when I am at home. I was interested in the Ozzie Smith & Gallardo baseballs.
  9. Vuckovich is also signing at Waukesha Sportscards for an even higher rate.
  10. I was under the impression compensation for Type B free agents was in between 2nd and 3rd rounds, not after the 1st round. Could be wrong though....
  11. What would you guys recommend getting signed? Anything unique?
  12. Do you happen to have the Braun & Hardy bobbleheads from this year? If so, are you willing to part with them?
  13. I'm not so sure Macha is the top choice. Granted, he was the #1 candidate in 2002, but that team's situation was much more different than where the current team is at. Maybe Melvin viewed Macha as a person who would be better at developing young talent instead of leading a playoff team. Also, was Showalter hired by Melvin in Texas? We all know how much Doug likes his former Rangers....
  14. If management decides to hire someone other than Sveum, they have the advantage of being the only team to be looking for a manager right now. No other team has fired their skipper.
  15. If there's a game on Sunday, I just picked up a single in section 111, row 5, seat 1. It's right next to the Brewers dugout, and on an aisle. Can't ask for much more than that!
  16. Is it just the TV cameras picking up the wind, or has there been a basically non-stop groan of boos in the Cubs game?
  17. Yep, I went this week to pick up a jersey I wanted CC to sign, and it turns out since it was one of those 'knock off' jerseys from Asia, he was unable to sign it. Apparently it had something to do with MLB officials "stopping by" to observe the private signing. From what I was told, the MLB officials were confiscating all fake, non-MLB licensed jerseys on the spot. I only got mine back because I had the tags off already. Whatever.
  18. I've got a bunch of 16x20's and other odd-shaped prints that I am planning on getting framed sometime in the future. I would definitely be interested, and would like to see a finished product as well if possible. Also, where or how would one go about learning how to do this by one's self?
  19. Well, I bit the bullet to get my lone remaining '82 World Series ball signed by Fingers. I think that's worth the $30. I obviously would rather not have to pay for his signature since he signs so often, but I don't want to risk sending a ball that's just about impossible to find through the mail in risk of not getting in back.
  20. Rumor has it LOTF is posting a similar Yount signing tomorrow on their website. Time to see who has a better deal this time.
  21. Do you still have the Hart Futures ball?
  22. I know this is a bit of a weird request, but I was wondering if anyone might have a 1982 World Series ball that they would be willing to part with. If anyone has any ideas on where I might be able to acquire one, that would definitely be helpful too. Thanks!
  23. How about a Gallardo straight up?
  24. I am so glad that tomorrow is Saturday so I can watch college football and not worry about this continuing meltdown. \
