  1. they have no other catchers in AAA to call up
  2. if anyone needs to miss a few starts its Garza just to keep that 2018 option from vesting, LOL
  3. http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view4/1759071/fresh-prince-ugh-o.gif
  4. reason for that being the last year of the Loshe deal, and the contract language in the Garza deal... 4 years/$50M (2014-17), plus 2018 vesting option signed by Milwaukee as a free agent 1/27/14 14-17:$12.5M annually. 18: vesting/club option 2018 option vests at $13M if Garza 1) has 110 starts in 2014-17, 2) has 115 innings in 2017 and 3) is not on the disabled list at end of 2017 season whilt that $13 mil isnt that much in 2018 expected contract, for any team thinking about taking him on they have to assume him hitting those numbers (27 starts on avg over contract). 115 innings is a given if he hits 27 starts. When was the last time a starting pitcher got traded with 2+ years left on his contract? honest question
  5. Loshe is more likely to be traded than Garza
  6. the hypocracy of booing Braun yet CHEERING Marlon Byrd (a few years ago), Bastardo and Cirvelli is SO ANNOYING.

  8. 2-10 YA SAY? I DONT CARE! I am EXCITED about the prospects of this season! We either TURN IT UP and get back on track, clobbering a sea of red the rest of the month, OR we get blown away and see what this system has in store for the future! THIS GLASS IS NOT HALF EMPTY OR HALF FULL! I EITHER WANT IT OVERFLOWING OR DRY AS A BONE! BRING ON THE REDS!
  9. Whelp, those seats ruled, shame they couldnt win
  10. i'll be at the game, first row on 1B/RF side section 106 or 07! ie never sat that close to the field, and because of that they'll win today, I got the feels of it. look for me on TV, i'll wink at ya'll
  11. also... interesting seeing McCutch batting cleanup
  12. FANTASTIC FOLLOW UP!! I AM FEELIN THIS SO HARD RIGHT NOW!
  13. afternoon game vs Cole (i'll be at this one!)
  14. wonder if Hector Gomez gets the start at 2B vs LHP, or if they stick with Scoots like they said they would.
  15. I could see Rami getting a day off this series if his bat doesnt start to pick up
  16. this is exciting! this reminds me a little of the pirates prospect Stetson Allie, fireball HS arm, but just STUNK in the minors so they transferred him to 1B and he at times just tore the cover off the ball.
  17. please take criticism to literally any other thread. optimism only!
  18. nothing better than tuning in to the Bob and Bob show! http://disciplesofuecker.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/images2.jpg
  19. uggg same old crappy journal sentinel-level troll posts as we had last year
  20. OH MY GOD KHRIS DAVIS IS REALLY NOT THAT GOOD IN LF...............................
  21. dont worry Brew4U, when Gomey lands on the DL they'll call up Clark/Rogers to backup Schafer
  22. sucks Gomez is hurt, but its great to have a gold glove 4th OF in Parra to fill in while he's getting checked out in Milwaukee.
