  1. In Stearns We Trust
  2. Need that DH to stay to give it another go.
  3. Our coach has started 16-4 in his first 20 games including 8-0 against the division. That’s pretty damn good.
  4. Ryan Braun mic’d up was fun. Hope those kinds of things are here to stay.
  5. Back to back 40+ points. Helluva draft!
  6. Will probably see Mathias back up tomorrow, and probably Billy McKinney as well, depending on how bad Gamel is (I assume Braun is going on the IL). They have Corey Ray and Keon Broxton in Appleton as well. All that, in a playoff hunt? Woof.
  7. Anyone that tells me Arcia is the same player he’s been makes me chuckle. Noticeable difference this year. The adjustments have been made and he’s grown as a player. He’s just never going to mash.
  8. First time I’ve checked in awhile. Brinson doing much better. Mid 700’s OPS with a .250 avg.
  9. I give credit to Braun for trying to play through something. Had two hits while doing it. Just completely sucks his body won’t let him play consistently anymore.
  10. It’s almost like Counsell doesn’t want to be a playoff team. Make the change already and give yourself a chance in this one.
  11. I’ve been screaming this for awhile now. It’s just stinky we are forcing this. This will be loss #6 in a 60 game season for Houser. Awful.
  12. Aguilar stunk. The trade was fine. It’s okay that players go elsewhere and do well.
  13. Per McCalvy: Pat Murphy didn't miss a beat. Says he showed up today and introduced himself to Daniel Vogelbach by saying, "How did *I* have a heart attack and you haven't had a heart attack?" Murphy says Vogelbach looked at him like, "Who is this guy?"
  14. Yadi has his 2nd catchers interference in a week. We shall see what’s said about that...
  15. When did he do this? Can't find any reference to this incident online even on Twitter. Seems like a pretty unfair take even if this did happen. I've never seen anything to indicate that Grisham lacks class much less is a complete "clown." Twitter I’m not sure how “unfair” I’m being as he was a buffoon after hitting a homer. Like another poster said, arrogant.
  16. You must've just not read that I mentioned division winners getting in. Either way, just because the Brewers have been at a disadvantage monetarily for 50 years, doesn't mean I want the system blown up into something that doesn't provide the best product.
  17. After seeing Grisham flip the bird to the camers in the dugout, it made it even easier to not give a damn that he is in San Diego. Seems like a complete clown out there and I am believer that he will just be a middle of the road type player that flashes here and there.
  18. Packers win by 10+ this week. The juggernaut of Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur are going to put the league on notice early this season.
  19. Puts to rest taking post season into the equation.
  20. Maybe this gives a team like the Brewers more opportunity to win but it becomes gimmicky when you are talking about playing 162 games in the regular season to decide things. A team that wins 75 games doesn't really belong getting a shot at a team that wins 95+. And this would happen just about every season which means you probably are never getting a true champion of your league. Baseball is a strange game with odd occurrences and strange bounces. Just doesn't seem right. I'd almost rather that they put in a number of games needed to get in. Win 85 games (or you win your division) and you get included in the postseason. And have various formats/schedules ready for how many teams get to that number. At least then you are getting some teams that are of quality.
