I have dropped 20lbs from doing this fasting plus walking. I wouldn't say I'm the poster faster though as I do fall off track from time to time. Being back in school has made it a lot easier since I have regular routine agian. I still have more to go but the weight loss has been at a good pace for a persons overall health.

I'm impressed that Counsell is just tossing out the same lineup. I thought for sure he would make a change just for changes sake.

Are you saying that Burnes was a good pitcher in 2019? Because he was flat out awful. That talent is there but if any indicators think that he was good a season ago, oh my.

Partially stalled because we've chosen to muddy up our OF positions every year. It's always interesting to me who gets opportunities and who doesn't. Hopefully, Taylor starts drawing some walks and continues to be a consistent bat. Would be a great piece moving forward to have turn out.

He only had a hundred at bats .......which is twice as many as this season for context. Injury. Should've just looked it up I suppose. I wouldn't mind adding him back next year even at $4.5M.

If anything else comes from this season other than Burnes looking like a TOR piece, I'm okay with it. What a mountain to build around if he has legit found it. That would push Woody down a peg as the #2 which is about where his ceiling is anyways. Now you have some things to build around in the rotation.

That's only true if you truly believe that Houser's last 6 games pitching during this weird pandemic year is truly who he is as a starter. I'm not convinced yet that that's the case, although the evidence is beginning to mount. Yeah, he was lights out as a reliever, but I think you'd find that a lot of MLB starters have put up better numbers out of the pen than in the rotation. I think it's likely that he starts 2021 as the team's #3 or #4 starter, but will likely have a bit of a shorter leash based on the inconsistency he's shown this year. He's pitching about as well as he did a season ago as a starter. We seem to want to make excuses for him and his poor results. At what point is it enough data? He wasn't very good in the minors as a starter. He hasn't been good as a major league starter. He has shown to have elite stuff in the pen and on a good team, could be a difference maker back there. Right now he's just a "guy" in a rotation that happens to be able to throw enough pitches to get to 4-5 innings. Why not maximize what he is? If he was a younger guy, I might think differently but he's not.

Until the results start matching some of the analytical stats, I just don't believe he will ever be more than a low rotational guy. When we already know he can be an elite bullpen guy, this move bothers me. Go sign 3 Brett Andersons as they basically are better than Houser as a starter and make your pen that much better.

Defending Jacob is a solid "who done it" type of show on AppleTV. Chris Evans did well along with supporting cast.

Arcia’s overall numbers don’t look like anything special, but he’s had much better at bats overall this year than he’s had the past two seasons. He’s trending in the right direction at least. Walking more than ever and striking out way less than ever. The improvements have been there for him.

Well, I did say a huge step. I say that because last season they were an 8 or 9 win team that found a way to somehow win 13. They won't get that lucky this year. Oh. Well this could be true. Could be... Still see too many standing out the mountain top trying to be the smartest in the room saying how bad the Packers will be because they didn’t get the WR they wanted in the draft. Not saying that’s what you are doing but Packers fans have become some of the most annoying fan bases.

It’s not going out on a limb to say the Packers will step back from 13 wins. The NFL has more turnover from year to year than probably any other league.

Adrian Houser this season: First 2gs: 2-0, 0.75 ERA, 0.92 WHIP Last 6gs: 0-4, 7.45 ERA, 1.62 WHIP I was hoping to be wrong and said it in this thread. I don’t think I am and the numbers continue to pile up.

If nothing else, hopefully this season will lead to Houser heading back to the pen and us going out to find a quality starting pitcher.
