can you share how you can? I don’t like to be that guy that says they have a source (as I rarely ever do) but I just know someone connected with the Brewers who shared with me that the mistake was by Topps to release that card before the Brewers were ready to release it themselves. I know nothing else about it other than that. So no uniform news and what I shared isn’t exactly breaking news as most have guessed that the logo is that anyways.
I would be pissed if I was him too. No reason not to turn to him last night. No reason to pull Greinke either. But yeah, he will be seeing some $$ signs this offseason.
Kendrick was always a useful player even early in his career. I guess maybe he didn't live up to everyone's expectations of being the #12 overall prospect in 2006 but he certainly didn't disappoint either. I know batting average isn't as big as it once was but the guy has a .294 career average in over 6,000 plate appearances.
I'm personally totally ok with that. It's fun to window shop, though. That's where I am at as well. If an option comes at us that makes sense, do it. But if Arcia is the guy going into next season, I'm okay with it.
I wonder if the Athletics would be interested in moving Marcus Semien? If so, would Turang plus another solid prospect be enough to pry him free? Maybe that is too rich to bring back a player that has one year until free agency. Maybe you can nab him for lower prospects.
Yeah, franchises that don't have an identity continue to change their logos, colors, etc... It'd be great to get back to the ball and glove and leave the damn thing alone.
I don't really want the Nationals to win. That would be one less team that gets theirs while I am still stuck with a loser franchise. Selfish, yes. But if I am going to suffer, others should suffer too.
I never quite understand why NFL teams don't just unload their players at the trade deadline when they have no chance in competing. I mean, why not grab as many picks and such as you can for players that have no future with you?
1. Give him a zillion dollars. 2. Throw all academic standards out the window. 3. Pay all players under the table. 4. Free tats (that was previous coach but still a solid Ohio State tradition). 5. Make sure there is plenty of dope to go around. In other words, pay him and allow him to bring his "SEC-style" of recruiting to Madison. Sign me up!
Some of it, yes. And people have said plenty over the years about our defense but know that our offensive scheme holds them back in a lot of ways as well. We can make up excuses all we want but UW is happy with their competition in the Big Ten West and will take the occasional upset they get. They are not incentivized in the slightest to make a change and try to knock off big-time opponents like OSU.
