  1. Soft team compared to SF
  2. He's terrible. He offers nothing. He doesn't get separation, he's not fast and he doesn't have good hands. The fact that he sees as much playing time as he does is indicative of how bad our receiving corps is. Completely agree. These are the games that our lack of playmakers outside of Jones/Adams usually comes out.
  3. They’ve come out and punched us in the face. Wonder if we will fold.
  4. Reasonable contract there.
  5. Packers getting no help lately.
  6. If your team struggles at breakaways, it’s a coaching problem?
  7. Why isn’t that guy kicking?
  8. Those people are morons. There’s no better word to describe them that isn’t vulgar. Yep. The whole process is ridiculous.
  9. SEC on their annual late season bye week. Such a joke.
  10. I stopped following this stuff as the process of who gets in and when is just too stupid for me. Leaving the best players to ever play out and putting in guys who see good but not great means the Hall has very little value to me.
  11. Wonder if Segura would even want to come back.
  12. Tired of late games. Just play at noon or 3pm already.
  13. Cain? Assuming he is 2018 Cain? Cain's 2nd half 2019: .281/.350/.403 .753 OPS Cain's career OPS: .761 What are we worried about? That he will only be a year older and will limp around the field for 125 games slapping balls to the second basemen.
  14. And what or who would be the alternative if the don't re-sign Moose? Shaw is a role of the dice and and your point is 4. There is nobody even close to Moose out there that would be available at a better price. I'll take my chances on Shaw regaining his form over locking up Moose for 3-4 years. He's a solid player but nothing more in my opinion.
  15. Whoever pays Rendon will be paying for his production as a 27-29 year old and most likely won't be getting that production replicated.
  16. I hope this bandaid gets ripped off quickly with Moose too. Sign elsewhere and we can get back to our business of finding replacements. I don't want any part of a long term deal with him. If it happens to be where the market lets us have another 1-year deal, fine. But 3-4 years? No thanks. He's not that good to warrant it and is only getting older.
  17. This is what having some success does. It brings out a feeling of being owed something. It's gone on with the Packers for a couple of decades now. Fans are "owed" a World Championship and they just can't believe they've "wasted" all those years with HOF QB play, yada.. yada.. yadda. The same thing is now occurring with fans of the Brewers because they've been in a position to compete. Look, the Brewers have been good enough each of the last 3 seasons to win a championship. The current owner, manager, and front office staff that is in place set that up but yet we keep hearing we shouldn't trust them or accept the "company line"? Hogwash. I wasn't on board with signing Grandal for that length or price but even if I wasn't, I would at least trust them in their line of thinking that it might not be what is best for our organization to continue to compete.
  18. I didn't want the Brewers going down this road with Grandal at 4-years so I am happy but the "we tried" quote should be painted on Miller Park somewhere.
  19. Pasting a lineup write now is only going to get you worked up. It's November. R-E-L-A-X
  20. If the White Sox end up paying Grandal to be a DH, this is a terrible deal as his bat isn't that great. It is great for a catcher but at DH it doesn't play that well long-term.
  21. So glad we didn't make this deal. It was fun to have him for a season but that's just nuts for an aging catcher.
  22. try one more season and his option is not picked up. You want to kick someones dog while you're at it too?
  23. Love it. Braun looks like he's ready for another decade of Brewers baseball!
  24. Markus Howard throwing up as many shots as he can and hope for the best.
  25. I said this to friends yesterday. If NE had a good QB, they would roll people more than they do already. Brady is actually holding that team back. That's not a dig on him, he's just up there in age and it is showing.
