  1. Zach Brown cut by Eagles after opening yapper on how much Cousins sucks. Worth a look?
  2. Replacing Hook would be the start of musical chairs. Need stability in some of these spots.
  3. 4-11 against Ohio State since 2000- We just don't match up with them for the most part. We can push out scores all we want but we just don't beat them very often. Penn State has become much of the same. We've lost the last 4 to them and we are 5-8 since 2000. Two hurdles that the Badgers are going to need to get through if they want to have a shot at the 4-team tournament.
  4. At least we keep the streak alive with topics trying to trade Braun.
  5. I'm thinking one score game tonight that could go either way. Maybe a turnover decides it. We've been on the good side of that so far this season.
  6. Worth noting that the Badgers have only been "w'alked out of Indy" once in five trips there. The other four included two wins and two one possession losses. They've hung fairly well with the "big boys of college football" historically. The last two games against Penn St and Ohio St were closer in score than the actual game. At least that is what it felt like being there. The speed OSU and PSU had on the field didn't seem to compare to ours in those games.
  7. While stats might not be the end-all, they do matter. Pro scouts/teams want to see that you have had production. Coan has been fine. He hasn't been asked to do much yet but he's done his job well. Is he the needle mover the Badgers offense needs to beat a team like OSU in a couple of weeks? Time will tell on that but this team reminds me a lot of those teams that get walked out of Indy in December because they just can't keep up with the big boys of college football.
  8. Anything above 30% is too much for me. Just shouldn’t happen.
  9. Lux is probably more valuable when considering cost and years.
  10. What's the best new shows out there this fall?
  11. It is a dumb show but a fun one. I always get a kick out of the guesses. They guess A-listers as if they would be on that show. It's always comical to me.
  12. Unless his arm is about to blow up. Then the Cubs and Cards can sign him.
  13. "Just a Bit Outside" is not just from the movie Major League. Uecker has been using this as a catch phrase as a Brewers broadcasting for years before that movie came out. This may be true but it’s Harry Doyle’s quote more than anyone else. Pass.
  14. I'm not a fan of using a catchphrase from a movie that wasn't centered around the Brewers. So unless they are using a Mr. 3000 quote, no thanks.
  15. I remember that 2011 Brewers-Cardinals series differently. I remember it as a series where our pitchers didn't show up. And if they had, history might be a bit different. Grienke was bad. Gallardo was worse. Marcum was finished. Those three duds are what killed the Brewers chances of winning a World Series with a very talented group of offensive players.
  16. Right there with you. Tuned in last night to my first playoff game other than the Brewers and saw the Twins strand the bases loaded with no outs. While it was impressive, I have seen that too many times this season already. Watched one more inning. Saw Gardner chop one by Sano and turned it off. That'll do for the 2019 season for me.
  17. If you and Skip every share the same opinion on something, change.
  18. Yep. If Gute doesn’t go out and try to fix that area he’s a dope.
  19. Packers need receiver help badly. Scoring points without much out there.
  20. But what if, and hear me out here, they traded Yelich for another great player?
  21. I wonder, did you post this about Yelich on the Marlins too? Or is it just because you didn’t like Villar.... hmm. Villar walked 61 times last year which would have been 3rd on our team. Imagine if the goal wasn’t to walk anyone... whatever that means.
  22. Kent State today...
  23. Clay Matthews who was having a great year (6 sacks), is out 4-6 weeks with a broken jaw.
  24. A couple things here. Yes, Villar had a nice season. With that said hindsight is 20/20, I'm not sure anyone really questioned the move at the time and it's much easier to put up those kind of numbers 40 games back of contention. Hindsight is 20/20 but if we keep shipping players off as they enter prime years we will continue to see more and more Villar situations.
