  1. Part of me hopes a poor defensive play burns them tonight so they don’t pull this crap again.
  2. It's just too early to know. Both in this season and future seasons. Who knows what types of moves will be available to us between then and now. The Brewers have been pretty active in a lot of ways over the past few seasons.
  3. Good for Aguilar. We will need him to start against LHP. Thames can take the RHP right now though.
  4. Pulled this off of Twitter: ***TODAYS LINEUP - HARD HIT% Cain CF - 31.5 Grandal C - 50.0 Braun LF - 44.8 Aguilar 1B - 29.6 Moustakas 3B - 42.9 Perez 2B - 35.7 Gamel RF - 35.5 Arcia SS - 30.9 Davies P (OPP) - 25.3
  5. Why would he do this though? He already made a deal to pay him his worth further down the road. It’d take paying him even more money to do this.
  6. I think the genre that is lost right now is the comedy world. Not too many comedies out there that will stand the test of time. It is truly amazing how DC failed to capitalize on the Batman trilogy. What a huge miss on their part. Been reeling since then by piecing together their own universe and mainly having lousy movies. What a shame. I am excited to eventually see Endgame. It is a remarkable run for Marvel to do what they have done and to make movies that for the most part line up and make sense within their world.
  7. People getting huffy over draft picks are always so funny to me. So many things can happen with these guys. The outcomes are almost endless. Gary has a ton of talent. The Packers liked him. My thought is that we could let it play out on the field and then discuss how good or bad the pick was.
  8. Do you have statistics to back this up? I think you would find out differently if you actually looked them up.
  9. No one is bashing you here. Stop crying wolf. People are debating you. When you go down the path you have on these boards, you better expect to continue to be questioned. You made your bed. No one is going to feel bad for you now. Oh and your eyes never lie? Come on man. These are just ridiculous comments. Tell me what MLB team you must work for then? Silly post, one after another and you just can’t seem to get out of your own way. Instead of trying to refute the lying stats, you take another dig at me, calling my posts silly, and ridiculous. Taking snippets, out of context, to try and make me look bad. I stand by my comments, and don’t talk out of both sides of my mouth like many here do. That kind of bold talk upsets people, so I get that, and I ignore my fair share of snide comments directed at me, but my 50 years of brewer fandom gives me a perspective that some here don’t have, if only because of the totality of what my eyes have seen. So if you like Jacob Barnes in this pen just say it then. And we can just disagree. Until you stop trying to justify your thoughts and agenda with speculation and your own opinion it’ll be rough sledding around here for you. You can surely make your point (in less posts) in a different way by using statistical evidence, actual quotes from the sources your seem to mention, and by not bringing your agenda into every single thread on here. You also talk about this forum very negatively in many posts. Do you really think that’s going to go over well here? Nothing is stopping you from leaving if this place is just too much for you. Being a Brewer fan for a really long time doesn’t grant you immunity for your posts. You’ve had it out for Barnes all season and have made many opinionated remarks about him and the way CC thinks of him. Even though he’s been solid for much of the year. It’s fine that you don’t care for him as a reliever but it’s highly doubtful they’ll move on from a guy that’s actually doing his job pretty well. That’s where the silliness comes into play.
  10. No thanks. We have Shaw to play at 3B and there’s no reason Hiura shouldn’t be the 2B next season.

  12. You take the good you take the bad you take the rest and there you have.....the facts of life. exactly!
  13. Wonder when Aguilar gets dumped? Are we still too close to his bobble head to think about it? Just play Thames/Shaw and heck, even public enemy No. 1, Braun there.
  14. I think you may need to talk to someone regarding Braun and it bugging you so much. I mean, whoa.
  15. Depending on who is there in the 2nd round I wouldn't mind seeing: -Irv Smith Jr. TE / BAMA -Cody Ford OL / Oklahoma -Jawaan Taylor OL / Florida
  16. Fun first day picks. Maybe not the names a lot were talking about but some really talented players headed to GB.
  17. Have a pitcher that wins 100 games for our franchise? Jim Slaton had 117 and last pitched for the Brewers in 1983. Mike Caldwell had 102 and last pitched for the Brewers in 184 These are the only two pitchers will 100 or more wins in our history. Full List Can be found here. The Brewers have no one active in the top 10 wins of all time. Jimmy Nelson is the closest we have and he stands at 33 wins currently as he is trying to get back to the major league level.
  18. It'll be interesting to see where Domingo ends up. Much of this is reactionary to a bad stretch. Time will tell.
  19. That would be my argument for the people blaming the pitching issues on Chris Hook. It isn't Hook's fault that the pitchers have been so horrible hitting their spots, and that it seems like every time they miss, it is a meatball down the middle. Well, it is a mechanical thing. That is Hook's job to get his pitchers mechanics right. I was quick to give him a Hook the other night as our pitching coach but it has been that bad so far. I mean, all pitchers regressed?
