Here today. Excited to see Hiura play. Edit: if anyone hasn’t watched the Selig Experience it’s worth your time. It’s not super long but it’s a fun watch.
Back to spewing this crap again? Lovely. Not crap, just an opinion. It’s not an attack against Mark A, there’s time to salvage the season, let’s see what happens moving forward. Salvage the season? oh my.
Blues to the Cup finals for the first time since 1970. Although I was not even born then, I feel like I have been waiting that long to see this series for the Blues.
You would think our manager would realize this, but apparently he does not. I don't think you can make a statement like this without knowing the full situation. It could very well be that Stearns believed he could be a guy they make into a multiple outs guy and the only way to prove this would be to use him that way. So while it could be that Counsell is a complete moron, it might also not be the situation.
I'm guessing that the Brewers don't even know what they will do yet. Too many factors in play. Will Shaw get healthy quickly? Will Shaw hit on his rehab stint? Will Hiura perform in that time period? Will there be other injuries between now and the time for the decision? Just way too many moving pieces to say what should or will happen. Some went from "he's the next Ryan Braun" to send him back down in the matter of a few at-bats. You just cannot have a bipolar view of players all the time. Let them go at it for a while and then form a reasonable opinion on what should or should not happen with a player.
Claudio is great when used properly. When used against LHP he's been almost unhittable. When trying to use him as a multiple outs guy, he gets beat up.
Yep, this is spot on for me. It is a very easy thing to complain about so most do. I am sure each and every year there are times where guys get hosed at home plate by a wide margin because of a bad decision by the 3B coach.
Game of Thrones. While I wasn't as crazy as a lot of people on this show, it was a good one. It did go out with a whimper though. People hated the last few episodes and last nights finale was no different.
[sarcasm]The other team should probably put their left fielder in the second deck of right field.[/sarcasm] Btw, 8 of his 19 have come to left-center to center field. 5 of 7 doubles to the left side as well.
