    This is Ryan Braun's average batting line over the course of a 162 game season using his past three seasons (including this one) which is roughly 1,000 plate appearances. If you are looking for a baseline of what to expect from him, this a great place to start. Can he outperform some of these numbers? I think he can with good health. But he's also 35 so the consistency factor is always a real thing with him especially due to his lingering injuries (fingers crossed) that he seems to have stayed away from a bit this season so far.

    I'm glad we got a run out of that but I don't understand the bunt if Thames is going directly back to 3B on it. We are just giving up an out at that point.

    Davies has been as fine as usual IMO. Just the 2 hits, 3 errors behind him. He should have been out of the last inning with no damage. Davies has been just as much of an "ace" as the Phillies "ace". Throwing the ball well this season.

    Like hitting and pitching, the defense has ebbs and flows as well. It's a long season.

    What's the weather like in Philly tonight? If cold again, I don't think Braun is in the lineup.

    Yep, I've really enjoyed the show as long as you don't take it seriously, it's got some great moments with a good cast.

    Doubtful that a new CBA would impact him. Most likely the players would that would come up after the new CBA would feel any impact of change.

    Was really hoping we could wait until June to preserve the year but I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited. His bat is the real deal and he will eventually hit in the majors. Hopefully, it is sooner rather than later as it could make a heavy impact on our season if he does.

    Time for Peralta to put his big boy pants on and start the game with a zero. And then toss up a few more zeros after that. Never going to learn how to start a game if we always start someone for an inning for him.

    I picked Cain as my biggest disappointment and while Shaw and Aguilar are running away with those awards, Cain is on his way there.
