  1. That all out of your system now? Probably should just start a thread about how terrible he is so you can vent it out every so often.
  2. No but you’re the only one that will try to use your opinion of what CC is thinking as if it is a fact.
  3. Move Pina, pickup Swihart. /somewhat blue
  4. Hockey is where I’m at and will always be so I’m biased on this topic but even taking out hockey from the equation I’m not sure how people rally around the nba so much. You have some of the most talented athletes on planet earth and the game feels like I tuned into the WWE or something.
  5. Your Barnes example is the poster boy for stats clouding the real picture of reality. Statistically you rate him as a second or third best reliever, but my eyes and counsell’s eyes certainly don’t agree. There’s a good reason CC has him 7th of 8 in The bullpen pecking order. Barnes pitches well when in the lowest leverage situations like Sunday, CC didn’t have much choice in last nights game. History suggests keeping Barnes far far away from high leverage situations. With Jackson’s success in Japan, to go along with his success right now in AAA, bring him up. Potential upside far greater than Barnes in my opinion. Don’t think CC be disappointed either. Barnes pitched the 8th yesterday. He’s striking out more than a batter per inning and has a WHIP under 1. You can want to dislike him. You can dislike him. But certainly don’t try to begin to push another false narrative that Counsell sees what you see.
  6. Is this supposed to be in blue? Are you really inferring that basketball players don't exert that much energy during a game? Somewhat blue. Just hard to watch NBA guys even in playoffs lollygag up and down the court.
  7. The way NBA guys jog up and down the court they should be able to play back to back nights even in the playoffs.
  8. Good. Let some other team pay him out of his prime years.
  9. He is an exciting player and suberb defender who I enjoy watching but he is still a ball hog. As I just said I would have been royally **ssed if Yelich got hurt on that play. Fly balls like that are for the outfielder. It’s Arcia’s ball until the OF calls him off. Be upset over Yelich misreading the ball off the bat and then having late communication with Arcia who very well could have gotten hurt on the play also.
  10. I know I’m in the minority around here but I love watching him play. He has frustrating moments but he’s just so talented. Still very young too.
  11. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone actually say that we were. But I was the guy that started the thread that said we should pull the trigger and do it. Call it wishful thinking is all on my part. Would have been surreal. Would have dumped Thames and Aguilar in a minutes notice too.
