    Anderson has a 1.169 WHIP and Gonzalez has a WHIP of 1.531. So the answer is yes and it's not really close. Gonzalez has a better FIP, WAR, lower HR/9, better K/9. It's closer than you think. Yeah but how many dingers and ribbies do each have?

    Since the meaningful trade time has passed, I thought I’d kick this off for moving forward after the season. Something to talk about anyways. Trades: -Hopeful that we can find takers on Thames, Santana and Davies. It’d be great if those guys had big months during September and into the postseason maybe. -Wade Miley can’t be back, can he? He’s been great but I want Burnes, Peralta and even maybe Woodruff to get a shot at the rotation. Could we maybe move Anderson? Got a pretty friendly contract.

    I agree. Bears are slowly putting a really good core in place. NFC North might be the best division in football. Depending on the price, this may be the first major "swing and a miss" for Gute. I mean I get it if the Bears give them two firsts because they would be better picks for the Raiders but if it’s something cheap, I’ll be ticked.

    What type of posts? Thames is better than Braun offensively and defensively it is not that wide of a margin. Even with Thames bad defense in the OF he is still a better player than Braun is right now. I think both Thames and Braun to get hot in September and make the choice a moot point. I don’t think Thames gets many more at bats. Maybe some pinch hit opportunities but even there he won’t be top priority. He’s made his bed much like Domingo did. At least when Braun was cold, he was having clutch hits and smoking the ball. Thames just K’s, plays poor defense, and throws fits.
