  1. If you’re looking for the weirdest, strangest tv show I’ve seen in awhile, check out Tiger King on Netflix. I’m just simply amazed those people exist and are in society.
  2. Yes! They are all flipping insane. I just cannot believe what I watched was real life. That it actually took place and that these crazies are out there.
  3. Tiger King - Netflix One of the weirdest, craziest, unbelievable stories I’ve ever watched.
  4. How will that rate affect mortgage rates? Or won’t it?
  5. That would be great. There were rumblings for Iowa when I was living there because they are building a brand new facility very close to the campus that could host a college team if they wanted to.
  6. Agreed. The uniqueness of how it was shot was really fun for me.
  7. Oops. Yeah, brain fart there.
  8. Being a HS coach in Wisconsin we have our Wisconsin Coaches Association meeting at the Kohl Center prior to the start of our season. This year we had both Granato and Clarkson University’s coach, Casey Jones come in to speak with us among others. Jones was awesome not listen to. You could just feel the hockey knowledge spewing out of him as well as the set plan he had in place for his team that season. He talked (ribbed us) about beating Wisconsin 4-0 the night prior and and said they have much more high end talent on their roster and that he needs to get more above average guys to play at higher levels because he doesn’t get the types of players a Wisconsin does. When Granato came on to speak, I was left unimpressed. It felt like he went “Hollywood” on us. He was scattered and unorganized with his thoughts. A coach asked him his game objectives and if those change each game. He said no, they have set goals that they need to hit every game. When asked what they were he referred to his assistant coach and that he keeps track of them and he couldn’t remember them. It was odd. Anyways, my thoughts coming out of that was that I’d run through a wall for Jones and that Granato left a lot to be desired.

This thread is great. Having moved to the Milwaukee area about a year and a half ago, this helps a bit when looking for new places to try.
  10. If your team struggles at breakaways, it’s a coaching problem?
  11. What's the best new shows out there this fall?
  12. My wife and I love the Goldbergs and we have taken to the sequel of Schooled as well.
  13. Actually, there is just as much sex, if not more, in Game of Thrones if you want to be honest about it... lol I definitely agree. Starz just has a different feel to it. Can’t put my finger on it.
  14. Yes, it's really good. For whatever reason I never finished the series, I started watching season 4 but only watched 3 or 4 episodes and never went back. It was good though, more my fault for letting it slip out of my consciousness. I'm pretty lazy about keeping up with tv shows sometimes and it's not the show's fault. So many good characters though, Jack Rackham is my favorite. Yeah, I actually watched season one and 2 when we had Starz in our cable package, then lost track of it. Starting over, and like it more now than the first time I saw it. Glad there are two seasons I haven't seen yet, will be that much more fun after season 1 and 2... Black Sails felt like a soft core porn.
  15. Don’t forget the Wedding Singer and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.
  16. There will be a 4th and possibly 5th. Make sure to watch the after credits in the last episode as it teases something.
  17. I really enjoyed Spider-Man as well. Could lead to some good story lines.
  18. Stranger Things Season 3 was awesome. I didn’t care much for season 2 so I was not too excited for this one but I think it turned out great like the original season.
  19. Funny but that's what I do when I get yelled at for saying something right and it proves itself right. You can find an example of that in the MiLB forum where I said pump the breaks on a prospect then got yelled at for being stupid. I enjoy your insight. Was just having some fun with ya.
  20. Man, you love to play these cards don’t you? I said it’s a good lesson for all of us, not just you.
  21. It's not a dig, it's showing the truth. With Yamamoto doing well with Miami, he's on here telling everyone how he proclaimed Yamamoto was the piece that terrified him at the thought of losing when the Yelich trade was made. He said nothing of the sort. In general, everyone here should rest comfortably that the trade was a slam dunk, home run. Even if all 4 Marlins end up contributing as major leaguers, we don't need people being revisionist about the deal. The Brewers got more than they possibly could have asked for. Well then, how many of us, including me for sure, would want harmless, innocuous statements that we’ve made, researched thru the archives, and thrown back in our face. I know I don’t. I’ve always found TJs posts to be extremely interesting and thoughtful, just like yours TBBC. I cringed reading that, thinking of all the stupid things I said. Then maybe think before you post? It’s a good lesson for any of us.
  22. Netflix- When They See Us Hard watch but very good. Very sad to see those lives changed by some pretty awful people in the justice system.
  23. I’ve been waiting for that win for a long time. What a feeling! The Blues won the cup! Can’t believe it.
  24. I liked Rocketman. I didn’t know much about his story so it had my attention in that regard.
