  1. There’s no doubt about this one. The Cubs lineup just improved. They were already very good and just got better.
  2. Ohhhh maybe we can trade for Harper and lock him up long term...
  3. Perez has been smoking hot over the last month. I think Counsell has a better read on these guys than we do when it comes to their feelings.
  4. Counsell managing like a pro. Good Brewers win tonight.
  5. Counsell managing like he’s trying to get this team to its fifth post season in its history.
  6. Keep it coming! Schoop may never hit a home run. Damn.
  7. Keep it coming! Schoop may never hit a home run.
  8. And just like that, Chase has a nice start going. Gotta be annoying to never get run support.
  9. Yelich dropping 20 points in the last two weeks hasn’t helped this squad. Hopefully he can spin it around for the last month. This was my post as the ball was being smashed out to left center. Lol
  10. Don’t Braun and Aguilar both have hits? I mean what are we talking about here... Thames has been really bad as of late and Braun and Aguilar haven’t. They also provide better defense.
  11. Fly ball hit about 280 feet, crowd of 20K erupts. Womp, womp.
  12. It would be great if the Badgers had a tough schedule every year but it’s just not how things work. Doesn’t mean they can’t find themselves in a playoff game if they take care of business. On Cephus: Innocent until proven guilty but boy that article did not sound great. Another one bites the dust I guess.
  13. I do agree with you. I would much rather be playing Santana than Thames right now. But he will be back in September.
  14. Do we have to add Domingo by 9/1 for him to be playoff eligible?
  15. As long as Anderson keeps it in the park tonight, I have a good feeling about this game.
  16. This is a bad take. You want to get rid of one of our MVP candidates who is earning $500k this year and under team control next year and arbitration the next three years after that? I get your point, but I think Brew is hoping to sell high. We have seen so many of the guys that "broke out" last year come back to earth that he doesn't want to see that happen again. Brew you can correct me if I am wrong. I personally would rather trade Shaw. He struggles so bad against lefties that I think it limits the roster. I realize he was a bit better in 2017 (.740 versus .580 OPS), but based on what I read, this is more in line with who he is. Yes, sell high. I like Aguilar. He’s a great story but I’m not sure he will ever produce like this season again. If we could get another GM to buy that it’s not a fluke, we could get a hefty return. Shaw and Moustakas are very good defensively and are consistent on offense.
  17. Khrush hasn’t been a Brewer since 2015 but yet here we are. This is as bad as we collapsed in 1879 so these players in 2018 will surely collapse too.
  18. I think it had more to do with his spot coming up in the lineup and having Jeffress and Hader completely rested.
  19. Yeah, the WAR to salary thing never really adds up in my opinion. If Schoop doesn’t turn it around, it’s an easy decision to cut him loose and find a different player.
  20. LOL, ya ooooook. It was alllll the plan from the get go. Aparently this was condescending towards brew4u. And he reported me. Thanks for the pm letting me know that brew4u Sorry to um... offend you? Ha As was this.
  21. To be fair to CC, the Brewers are going to need Hader a lot down the stretch so maybe this lull is part of a bigger plan.
