Anderson at 81 pitches or Boone Logan... I’m sticking with Anderson.
  2. pacopete4
Well he was used against a lefty and failed again. Time to realize the mistake and move on. We have other arms for that spot.

I think we just found a new word that will be banned.

    Chill

Braun has some serious swagger as of late. Love it. OPS is at .752 now and climbing.
  6. pacopete4
Braun’s a better first basemen defensively. It makes a lot of sense coming off an off day.

Good, even great managers can be “dumb”. Good, even great managers get complaints. I wouldn’t take it too seriously.
  8. pacopete4
Fixed. Pitchers attempting to hit has gotten old for me. Just not enough skill there anymore and they get hurt all too often.

The comment was about starting Perez over Villar. You have a comment about his magic hands with the bullpen. Interesting. Some people go to a really nice party that the host spent a lot of time preparing for and spending many hours getting all accommodations in order and while most people are going to enjoy the party and the effort the host put forth ... there will always be people who walk out disgusted with the host because they didn't have any craft beer or the bushes weren't trimmed outside. That's his point. Oh I get it. There will always be complainers. I just thought his example was of poor use. Either way, it’s a forum where the majority of it is complaints and opinions. Should we close up shop til they hit the skids? Lol

I think his point was that eventually Braun and Santana will tear up left handed pitching. I happen to agree. I’m actually hoping we start to give Shaw some off days against lefties and put Aguilar or Perez over there. Keep the big guy fresh.

Never understand coming on here to tear this forum down. If you don’t like the posters and content, go away or keep your trap shut. Or even better yet, contribute and help change the culture. The rest of this stuff is petty BS. Back onto the topic, I don’t want to see Hiura traded at all. I really think he’s the bat our organization has been desperately needing. He should stack right in there with Cain and Yelich and eventually will hit right behind them in the lineup. At least that’s my prediction.

    @ White Sox (2-1) @ Indians (1-1) @Phillies (1-2) Cubs (1-2) Phillies (2-1) @ Pirates (2-1) Cardinals (2-2) Royals (2-0) @ Reds (2-1) 15-11, 51-32 overall

While the game itself doesn’t matter it is nice to put as many Brewers as you can and get some National attention. Maybe then announcers will know it’s Miller Park and not Miller Field. SMH.
  15. pacopete4
He is the next Braun type bat in our system we have so desperately needed. He’s gonna be a special player. Can’t wait to see him destroy AA too.
  16. pacopete4
I wish Draymond Green played hockey so he’d get taken care of. What a douchey player/person he is.
  17. pacopete4
Well he’s headed to AA-Biloxi tomorrow after going 5-5 with two dingers tonight.
  18. pacopete4
Some have setbacks, others don’t. Not sure one has anything to do with the other.
  19. pacopete4
I mentioned it yesterday in the game thread because it should’ve happened for yesterday’s game. It’s a no brainer.
  20. pacopete4
Wouldn’t trade Hiura for Archer. Not an Archer fan and I believe Hiura is a part of the almost immediate core. Go get Realmuto for that price though for sure. 2019- Mid June: C- Realmuto 1B- Thames/Braun/Aguilar 2B- Hiura 3B- Shaw SS- Arcia LF- Yelich/Braun CF- Cain RF- Santana/Yelich Yes please.
  21. pacopete4
Without knowing the return, how mad would any of you be if they moved Aguilar in the next couple weeks as Thames returns?
  22. pacopete4
You wonder now if the Brewers put him on the opening day roster to get around that opt out date. If they did, again that’s business. I’d probably want out if I was him too. It’s not like he’s refusing to continue playing, he’s asking for a trade to put himself in a better position to be a Major League Baseball player.
  23. pacopete4
Vogt hurt his shoulder in Spring Training. Hard to blame Stearns for that. If healthy, he would have been nice to have in a timeshare with Pina right now. For me, no. He just wasn’t good enough defensively.
  24. pacopete4
Add resigning Sogard and Vogt this offseason as worst moves. Feliz as a closer a year ago. Feliz probably cost us a playoff spot more than anything. Risk/reward. We weren’t rewarded. This year, so far, has made up for that.
  25. pacopete4
No he wouldn’t because GMs know he’s a one trick pony.
