  1. Maybe Stearns put a hit out on HighHeat
  2. If it’s Arrieta, there’s a good chance we just spent money on a pitcher that won’t pitch like a TOR type pitcher nor even out produced a guy like Chase Anderson. Hard, hard pass.
  3. If it’s Arrieta, puke. That will really put a damper on this off-season for me.
  4. Badgers lose on another 2018 commit. PG- Xavier Pinson will be heading to Missouri.
  5. Let me check BrewerWorld and see if he has any updates...
  6. I’ll guess that it will be something very vaugue. (Only because be cant tell us much)
  7. How often do they (can they) take away scholarships base on the player just flat out sucking? Because that alone would open up scholarships for next year.
  8. I just had this discussion with a few Vikings fans. Even though they don't have that elusive Super Bowl win as a franchise, their history is as rich as just about anyone else. They have one of the better winning percentages of all time, been to four SB's, ton's of division championship teams and many great and even quite a few HOF players. Hard to bag on that franchise too much.
  9. I think sometimes what we have a hard time with is that multiple players can be great at the same time. Those two, while they have different styles of play, are interchangeable. I think a guy like Brees would be too. If you stuck any of those three on New England over the last decade, you would have pretty close to the same results.
  10. Well, we did trade Susac in the process of this thread.
  11. Star Wars can never win. Either they stick too close to the original storylines or they don't. Either way, people will have a gripe with them.
  12. Well, the NFL got what it wanted, an offensive show. This caters so much to the casual fan. It brings in people who just like to see action. I am not really one of them. Some people were raving that there were no punts last night. Great. I guess I'll tune into arena football too.
  13. I would do this as well IF pitchers had to hit all the way through the minor leagues as well. No DH in the pros. No DH is minor league baseball. No DH in college baseball. No DH in high school baseball. This would force even lousy hitting pitchers to hopefully get better and not be such a bore to the game of baseball. But yeah, since that is not happening. Both leagues should have the same rules and there it is, DH in the National League.
  14. Do starting pitchers in the AL average more innings per start than in the NL? It would make sense that they do but I’m not sure how to find that. In any case, this would be another reason I’m for it. Relief pitching changes are an annoying nuisance to the game of baseball.
  15. Another game, another loss. Played better at times. Badgers bench outscored 11-0. It’s really a shame Bo was too busy trying to get “busy” a few years back to actually recruit good players.
  16. With Reed and Lynch on the ballot, it will be tough for Butler. He’s deserving, no doubt. But not a huge name.
  17. If you were a FA pitcher like a Darvish and had offers from Chicago, NY, LA, ect... would you want to go to Milwaukee? I know we as Brewer fans are excited and we love our Brewers but it’s been a crappy franchise who hasn’t won much and is stuck in one of the smallest markets. Considering how regional the MLB that’s not a great thing for some of these players.
  18. Well stated RoCoBrewfan. That’s my general feelings as well. It isn’t the viewport, it’s the destruction of words towards others that scared me off. He seems like a perfect candidate to get rid of social media or at least the interaction with his “haters”.
  19. I looked down through pages of his tweets too, and I found nothing worth mentioning. Nothing at all. Probably not going to find it. I read articles about him and his responses to people. Didn’t go on his twitter feed. And it’s not about his political stance or side for me. Every can have their own political opinions. It’s more about how he treated people in his responses.
  20. After further review, Bauer is too big of a tool for me to ever want to see in a Brewers uniform. Hard pass. Just because of the way he speaks to people. Hard, hard pass. (If there even is a deal to be had with him in it)
  21. I like Barstool. Granted they get a bit much at times but they don’t back away from calling things what they are or calling BS on certain things and I enjoy that. Yelich seems like a good dude though.
  22. Just figure if our window is 4-5 years long, he would be a great addition to that. Still not sold on our catching situation.
  23. Realmuto Wants Out Do the Brewers have another package of players we could send over for this guy?
  24. It isn’t that I don’t believe in player development. King will basically be a freshman again. Was Trice ever that good? The remainder of that junior class like Iverson and Pritzl, well I’ve seen enough of them. A guy like Davison, Reuters and Ford could take huge jumps but I’m just not sure they’ll have enough to really make much of a jump. Maybe middle of the pack big10.
  25. But the Packers would get a chance to match any offer he would receive. So he still doesn’t really control anything.
