  1. [sarcasm]Rodgers spotted at a local Uhaul in Green Bay.[/sarcasm] But seriously, there a reports he is in GB today. So I guess it may be good?
  2. This was a ridiculous ending to a post but even still, the system that is in place is for ALL players in the NFL. It doesn't bend because you are a QB. There are plenty of guys drafted who end up being backups. This notion that a 1st round QB is owed something more than what their contract states baffles me.
  3. Please point to one time that a QB on a rookie contract demanded a trade and got his way.
  4. Could the Packers restructure/extend in a team-friendly way and also give Rodgers a no-trade clause or that he has control over who he is traded to? Something to make both happy here while freeing up resources to add players?
  5. If it were this easy to just "learn a 2nd swing", do you not think there would be more success from major league hitters or just hitters at all levels? This game isn't easy. It never has been. And I hate to break it to a lot of fans, it never will be. Pitchers are throwing harder than ever with nastier stuff. Keston would probably be Babe Ruth if he played decades ago.
  6. I just don't understand why Jordan Love can't exist as a young, talented backup QB for the next 2-3 seasons. Fans act like they need to do something with him, but they really don't. He's on his rookie contract that has three more years, then a 5th year option. I don't get the idea that the Packers aren't allowed to have a young, talented backup QB waiting in the wings should their 38-year-old superstar suffer an injury. After some of the pure crap they have trotted out there in the seasons Rodgers has gotten hurt (Seneca Wallace, Brett Hundley and DeShone Kizer), it makes me happy knowing that they are putting some effort into the QB position beyond Rodgers. If Love had to play a stretch for Rodgers and looks good, then you deal with perhaps finding a deal for one of them to get good value back. But not now. I'm with you here. Why is the QB position the only one that is truly treated this way? If Love provides us a cheap backup who looks promising while Rodgers is finishing his career, all the more power to the Packers for being proactive in that department. Rodgers thin-skin is a major issue and probably has been his entire career.
  7. Last 6 Games (MAY): 6 runs 4 runs 3 runs 5 runs 3 runs 0 runs While it hasn't been great, it also hasn't been THAT bad. They're playing about as short-handed as can be and still hanging around.
  8. Not having a healthy Yelich and Narvaez to go along with Hiura stinking has killed this team and their offensive output. There is no way around it and not much a GM/manager can do when you have so many big pieces shut down. It's been a pretty big statement that we are even above .500 and in just about every game. If this score stands, losing 4, 1-run games is rough but it shows that they're still competitive even as shorthanded as they have been.
  9. Lol, comical stuff. ESPN is just pathetic these days. I really do miss the good ole days with them.
  10. Rodgers will be cheered just like he was for more than the past decade if he comes back and plays. While Rodgers is dramatic and childish, so are a lot of people in general and that includes fans of the Packers. The funny thing is, there are a lot of fans that leaned towards the side of Rodgers and some of his complaints about the organization. The problem is his strategy to either fix that or move on from here is junk. The rest of this post, among the others you have posted, is merely trolling at this point. You don't care about this issue. You just want to see football fans upset. Congrats!
  11. If Rodgers didn’t hide behind the media and just told it like it is, I’d have more respect for him and the situation. That’d be my first talking point here. He’s a sensitive dude that’s very intelligent. He will play these games all day. I’d actually like if the Packers flat out ignored him and continued to go about their business. If that includes an extension or restructuring of a contract, fine. If it doesn’t, either we will see ya in the fall or we won’t. Enough of the media games.
  12. Trade him to MM and the Cowboys. Now that’d be funny.
  13. I guess my question continues to be- what have the Packers done at this point to be embarrassed about? I don't necessarily disagree. I just think they are embarrassed that this situation is even playing out. And on top of that, it is about 10 years or so from their last situation with a HOF QB. While I might agree that they haven't done much here in this situation, Rodgers has brought them down to the muck.
  14. This whole situation is a bit embarrassing for both the Packers and Rodgers. Neither side can feel too great right now. I know I wouldn't if I was in either of their positions. Rather than act like grown adults and get things accomplished together, it looks like they will go down and separate with a terrible last act.
  15. The 1982 Milwaukee Brewers had all position players play over 130 games each. Five of those eight players played 155+ games. Today's baseball player is SOFT and you cannot change my mind.
  16. I don't think putting perspective around this signing is being dismissive at all. Heck, I said it wasn't a bad take-a-chance signing even. If LeBlanc can come in and contribute, great! But the likelihood of it happening is not that high. Again, he hasn't been a good pitcher in quite a while, is older, and needs to do a lot to get himself in a position to contribute.
  17. LeBlanc hasn't been of any value since 2018. I'm not saying it's a bad take-a-chance signing but put it in perspective a bit.
  18. I know Eli gets pooped on (and it is warranted in some ways) but the man did have some magical playoff runs. It is pretty incredible.
  19. I wish. I would have him back in a Brewers uniform, yesterday!
  20. The Favre fiasco wasn't just that moment in time either. They let Favre become the beast he ended up becoming. This organization now has two HOF QB situations to look back at and wonder what the heck is going on 1265 Lombardi Avenue?
  21. Why can't the GM, the head coach, and the QB of the team just do their jobs and stop with all this other nonsense?
  22. The Tigers are 8-21 and have Michael Fulmer and Matthew Boyd. Give them Hiura and Taylor and call it a day.
  23. I wish the Brewers had more options to start. Houser should be in the pen.
  24. Fans are idiots though. Is Aaron Rodgers an idiot? Seems more and more like he might be. If this all stems from Jake Kumerow being released, I'll die of laughter and Rodgers truly is a buffoon.
