Wish we could dump one of our lousy pitchers to them.

Bring up Lopez, Woodruff, Hader and get rid of these other bums. Nelson can try the pen. Can't be any worse than the rest of the turds sitting out there.

Gonna have to remind myself to stop getting excited over this team. Just an illusion when they win.

I love the Adams pick. What a fun player he can be. After all the complaining I've done about picking Badgers I hope that they target Desmond King in the 4th and Ogunbowale in the 6th. Those two guys are football players that could help this Packers team.

So what plan would you put in place to serve us well immediately while preserving the future? Welcome to rebuilding, I hate it too but if we had no weaknesses we would already be rebuilt. Bullpens can be built even in rebuilding years. Other than Barnes and Knebel, none of the rest are a part of the future. The weaknesses could have very well been inexperience and starting pitching. It didn't have to be the leftovers bullpen that we have right now. That was just being cheap to be cheap. And if I saw what my offense was capable of, I would be finding new arms, from somewhere. Give this team a shot already.

Desmond King from Iowa in the 4th? Can help the return game and possibly all over the def. backfield.

How do you not address the pen with what they are seeing from this offense? To often Brewers management allows horrendous pitching for too much of the beginning of the season and before you know it, season lost.
  8. pacopete4
Torres has basically sucked all season. Time to move on.
  9. pacopete4
Hated the off day but I know those guys needed one. Hope they come out tonight and smack it around and set the tone for this series. Need at least 2!

    I expect another trade out.

Good, as it should be... Braun is a difference maker NOW! Anyone that wants him is going to have to pony up. Couldn't agree more. To sell him for peanuts would be a bad decision on the Brewers behalf. The way he's looking, I am more and more feeling that he'll be an elite hitter for quite awhile. Those don't grow on trees.

from what team? i would from the browns but not the patriots. If it were the Patriots, I would ask for a 1st next year and their 3rd this year. I'd lower it to 4th if it got the deal done. And then I would just hope the injury bug hit all over.

I suppose I am cheering for the Preds now since Milwaukee is the their team in the AHL. Well the Blues did exactly what they didn't do against the Wild last night. Brutal second period and Allen made a big mistake on the winner. Hopefully they'll turn it around or it'll be a short series.
  14. pacopete4
He didn't pitch that bad. Made a couple mistakes, had a few errors behind him that made his pitch count climb, but he still threw the ball pretty well.
  15. pacopete4
    Or Toronto?
  16. pacopete4
We are over .500, 23 games into the season!
  17. pacopete4
Was there a reason for this pitching change? Give me a break.
  18. pacopete4
Well Thames is hurt. Fun stuff.
  19. pacopete4
Yeah I have to agree. Ok Scooter was a nice little mediocre player here for a few years. Give him a little applause his first AB back in MP and move on, quit acting like it's the return of Paul Molitor every time he comes up to bat. One time, the first time he was up, would be perfectly fine for a nice round of applause. The rest is flat out annoying. Actually embarrassing to an extent.
  20. pacopete4
Is getting Watt that big of a deal? I love the Badgers but I want the best player. I don't care what college they went to.
  21. pacopete4
Enough with the claps and cheers for Scooter. Boy do we have some idiot fans. Only Milwaukee cheers on mediocre. There are two on, no one out in a crucial situation.
  22. pacopete4
I like allowing Wily to go deeper into the game here. Hopefully it works out.
  23. pacopete4
Hard to come up with one Stearns trade that hasn't made him look good. I guess Khris Davis but even that one isn't really that big of a deal. The Adam Lind deal was a bit surprising, but we wont be able to grade that one for at least a couple more years. Don't we have one of our top pitching prospects (Peralta) because of that trade?
  24. pacopete4
We blow up errors badly on these boards. Shaw has been good. Errors happen from time to time. R-E-L-A-X
  25. pacopete4
Brewers need to win this game and enjoy the off day. Peralta hasn't thrown the ball that bad today.
