As annoying as Feliz is, the rest of the pen is a dumpster fire as well. At least with Feliz there's track record and someone might bite on a trade if he gets it together.

Don't worry, they'll still blow it. They will..

    SHAW!!! SHAW!! SHAW!
  4. pacopete4
Are you sure it was called?

Stearns has to be kicking himself a bit. Hope he learns moving forward. I agree it sucks now but I'd rather have the guys we traded for than the guys we traded. Not talking about the guys we traded. Those were all very well played moves. But there were other free agents out there that could have been had if we weren't so cheap.

That would've been one heck of a turn there but I think just getting an out would have been a better play.

DFA Barnes while we are at it. They all suck.

Picking apart Hader is pretty silly. Unless you have inside information to what he's working on, I wouldn't make any assumptions.

I agree with your first sentence but wasn't it Cravy who ripped him? Or maybe it was both and I missed it.

    Finally.

I believe Marinez is out of options, so we would have to expose him to other teams. Not sure what the club thinks of Marinez long-term - but there would be a good chance we'd lose him. Scahill would require someone getting taken off the 40 man roster. Again, chance you lose someone if that happens. I would then DFA Marinez and put Scahill on the 40. Seen enough out of that guy to realize that he is a dime a dozen in this league. Send him to AAA if he clears.

Here is what I would do right now: 1. DFA Milone and bring up Cravy. 2. Send down Marinez and bring up Scahill. The rest of the pitchers would at least be put on notice that their jobs at the major league level are on the line. If you don't produce, you are going to be sent down. I would give the month to guys like Nelson, Peralta, Garza to either produce or they would be heading to the pen for guys like Hader, Woodruff, Lopez. When Guerra comes back, whoever of the bunch that is not producing is either sent down or is the new long man of the pen. If Wily doesn't have a good month, I look to see if there is anyone out there that wants to trade for him. If they don't, I begin his transition to being a great back of the bullpen option.

The MLB better have a pee cup ready for him after the game.

    Right trapezeous tightness.

Well, Knebel is about the best guy they have in the pen. If you can't go to him to put out a fire you can pretty much not trust anyone in that pen ever. Yeah I don't trust any of them.
  17. pacopete4
Just leave Garza in the dang game. Sick of this pen costing games.
  18. pacopete4
When he gets his launch angle right, he'll hit the ball too hard for parks to hold em.

Santana is winning me back over today.

Villar might've found a home at 2B. Been very happy with his play there since after about the first week.
  21. pacopete4
I wish Broxton was hitting. He might've made a lot of sense for them.
  22. pacopete4
How about the clown from the Nationals that hasn't hit since Thames has been over in Korea.
  23. pacopete4
Braun must've wanted to go home.

No reason for Milone to be on this team. None. I thought Stearns was of new thinking. I mean this is just pathetic.
