Hey, look at that! BREWERS WIN!!
-
Blazek gives up two loooooooong fly ball outs that I'm not sure if Uecker knew were going to stay in our not. Scary listening on the radio sometimes.
-
It is too small of a sample size but Flores just doesn't do it for me. Maybe he'll grow on me but he just seems meh.
-
Thatta way Carter! Finally get a run in from 3rd with less than two outs. Brewers lead 4-3!
-
Lucroy. Man oh man. Come on dude. Hit so we can get rid of you and your lousy attitude.

2016 Milwaukee Brewers Positive Post Thread

Nelson, now Jungmann gave back to back starts that we as Brewers fans can get used to. Might not win either game but it's a start. -
Really the only time it means anything is the first time through your order. After that it is like your 9th batter is your lead off and so on.
-
Jungmann quietly putting together a nice start. If he and Nelson can give them a formable 1-2 punch at the top and we can get serviceable out of the other three spots. It won't be that bad to watch this season.
-
I paid for the sports pack on Directv which gets me FSN Wisconsin.
-
BOOOOOOM!!!! CARTER #1 of the YEAR!!!
-
Santana with the knock. 2-2! Come on Scooter and get this run in.
-
That's where a guy like Carter kills you. And Lucory. And Flores. You can't cherry pick. Luc has to get that ball past the pitcher in his at bat.
-
Just now got to see that Aaron Hill over the shoulder catch, fire it home to get the runner double play. Special. This guy has impressed me so far with his defense at 3B. I sure hope the bat can be serviceable and we'll have someone knocking on our door later this year. Or maybe we sign him to a long term deal.
-
How did you get the Brewers game? I just went to that site and cannot find it.
-
It was a strikeout with Braun yesterday in a key spot and now a Lucroy tapper back to the pitcher in the 1st when a ground ball scores at least one. We have to have these two get their acts together and get hits in key spots for us to have an offense this season. And a Carter, K. Come on guys. And Flores. Brutal. Gotta capitalize!
-
Just give Cravy the start and don't bother bringing up him until you save him the service time to get another year out of him.
-
This type of post, pretty much every game (and I know it is not just you), is going to get really old soon. If it hasn't already. We get it. They may truly stink this year. Get over it. It was going to happen as they needed to restock the farm system. It's not even done yet as we still have guys like Luc and Braun on this team. Most teams in a complete rebuild do not have that going for them. Enjoy the youngsters trying to make their way and hope that this team can find its stride and become competitive. Otherwise what the heck are you doing watching them or even better yet, posting about them on message boards? It's just silly and I hope it doesn't continue in these forums or I may have to say my goodbye's for awhile. Ridiculous.

I want to see him get more at bats. I like his approach and his swing. Feels like there is more power to him on the left side and could put a few into the short porch. -
Players dominating minor leaguers will have their development stunted if they aren't brought to the big leagues for the final stages of development. Artificially holding them back because they don't quite fit a time table is shortsighted. Anthony Rizzo and Jose Altuve were developing into stars with awful teams. Service time trumps them being up on the MLB squad. None of the guys we have in the minors are screaming that they are ready for the MLB. Until they do, this is a weak argument for bringing anyone up that doesn't truly need to be.
-
Unless we find 5 or 6 that do their job consistently. If we find that, this season won't be as bad as some think. Just gotta get healthy.
-
A lefty with reverse splits. Looks like an okay pickup.
-
Overall a good ball game. They got one more bounce than we did and that's the deciding factor. Was nice to see our ace pitch like one. Hopefully tomorrow we can take a game from this series.
-
I'll take this game out of Nelson every time. Great outing. Could've broke when he had bases loaded and no outs but didn't.
-
Yes because Braun is such a bad hitter that he always chases low and away.
