Me too but more likely than not, you'll have the same collection of guys doing those type of roles. As the season has gone, Jeffress has earned a shot at later innings while Broxton should be pitching in the 6th when the game is out of control one way or another.
-
Yeah baseball is in the wrong on this one. They created the monster(s) of guys like Barry Bonds by allowing PED use because it sparked in interest in the game of baseball again. Then when guys started breaking records, they turned them into the villains. Its a crying shame what they did to guys like Barry. Barry is a complete butt head but he should've been allowed to play the game again.

A win tonight would be surprising. Fiers hasn't exactly done so well this year. I know Sale hasn't either but he's definitely the better pitcher.
-
Haha I had a good chuckle at this. But in all seriousness, Herrera should play over Scooter. He's been flat out awful.
-
Why not make Jeffress your 8th inning guy. He's been very consistent and seems like he's earned that opportunity. Don't care how much guys are paid.

Carlos Gomez Activated, Luis Jimenez DFA'd

Because he stinks. Good fielder. Will never hit worth a darn. Looked like a fatter version of Segura. -
Krod another nice outing. 7-3 in their last 10. Booyah!
-
You don't hit em much farther than that. Elian wants to stay on this club. That's way! Hopefully Gennett is the one to go.
-
Gomez saves the day. For now...
-
Broxton is just too inconsistent
-
I'm kinda over Gennett. Send him to AAA and let's see what Sardinas has to offer.
-
I will miss Gomez's crazy base running. So fun to watch. Energetic. Wish I could run that fast just once. Lol
-
Two weeks ago it's 6-6. Nice job Willy. Herrera might be the 3B we've been looking for!
-
Dang it. Another gopher ball. We really have to improve in this category.
-
Most people don't which will make it that much sweeter! I did enjoy your breakdown through. It's a good breakdown of how deep of a hole they dug.
-
Good question. I think the guys they've had have been doing a nice job so they've held off.
-
The way Davis has been walking just the platoon with Parra and Davis at the top. It sure is fun to win some games and smack around the ball.
-
Lohse wasn't a debacle by any means. People value those draft picks way, way too much. Lohse was a proven #2-3 pitcher and has done just that for us. A draft pick may never see AA in his career. It was a calculated risk and a good one. Plus it is a move that could pay off with another prospect(s) if Lohse can get his butt in gear by July.

This. This is about as funny of a post as I've seen in awhile. I'll second it.
-
It'll be interesting if this is still tied if Krod comes in. Many know he struggles in none saves situations.
-
Smith is the right move. It didn't work out. Braun needed a better jump but there's no guarantee he catches that. Maldy needs to make that play though. Nice relay.
-
Everyone must be enjoying Mother's Day. Hope you're at least getting to watch this one. Broxy in the 8th? Counsell must've learned from the best!
-
Very good outing by Garza today.
-
Not getting hits when it matters today. Another nice day for Braun so far. Should be 1 for 2 with a BB and SB. Good to see.
