Players on this team will regret this season. Big time. You don't get tons of opportunities to play in the post season and they let this one get away from themselves. Might as well lose them all and get a better slot for the draft. Screw them.
-
I know we are having fun with this and I shouldn't even admit this but my heart hurts from watching this team pee down their legs over the past 15 games. It kills me that they could still be in the drivers seat if they just played even mediocre baseball but nooooooo. They had to completely lose it and lose almost every single game. It sucks. It plain old sucks.

One has to wonder how he'd be viewed if they injury bug didn't hit him for a couple key seasons. Seems like a good man. Wish it would have turned out differently for him.
-
I miss Ryan Braun the game changer. He was so fun to watch.
-
Lohse. Go away.
-
Man. Just play Rogers or Clark at 1B and be done with it.
-
Time for Lohse to earn his paycheck and put us in a position to win today.
-
Schaffer sucks. Plain old sucks.

Hold on. You think this collapse has something to do with Wang? Laughable. NO ONE IS HITTING. NO ONE! The starters give up 5-8 runs before we even get to the pen and you mention the Wang situation? Lol

Remember when... (Insert all the good things players were doing up until this point in the season).
-
This team cannot afford anymore slumps. The Cards and Pirates are right here now and they are not going away. If they're not careful, we'll be on the outside looking in before we know it. Now or never...
-
More and more I wonder if we really even belong in the playoffs. We've had a nice ride but just seems as though our true colors are more like this team we've seen lately, than the team that swept the Dodgers.
-
Not getting Morneau may kill this team. They NEEDED a lefty bat like his in the middle of this mess.
-
Man, do we look stinky at the plate. Come on, snap out of it!
-
Probably because when they hit, they sure do hit. But when they are cold, I might as well turn off the TV. No happy medium with these guys.

Boys (and girls??), baseball is FUN! This is what we've been waiting for. These crucial series over the last month plus is what it's all about. http://browngirlnextdoor.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/cant-pic.jpg

What a big series. We have them at home where we can really knock them out of this thing. A sweep and they are done in this race. A lot of pressure on the Pirates to win so lets knock them out!
-
Braun will figure it out. The thumb thing obviously is bigger than we thought, or at least I thought, but he will figure out a way to get his big hits and continue to drive in runs.

Random MLB News & Discussion 2014
pacopete4 replied to Warning Track Power's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Just to bring it up for fun... Let's say the Brewers win the whole shebang. Where would they rank in terms of best teams to win a WS in the last decade? Maybe the names don't match up with some of the previous winners but never falling out of first place in a very competitive division for most of the season and then winning the WS... that would almost be the perfect season. -
Dayn Perry: The Brewers aren't going away
pacopete4 replied to Dead Simmons's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Dead Simmons, don't worry about the few that cannot see past who you are a fan of. Your insight and knowledge, especially of the Cardinals is a welcome thought around here as it helps bring another perspective to our forum. -
Anyone else jacked up for the last month and 37 games of the season? This ought to be pretty fun!!! I went to the Nashville game last night as I live in Albuquerque now and watched them mash the ball all around the park. Jason Rogers had four hits and all were just crushed. Hit a homer, two doubles and a single. His only out was a smashed ground ball right at the third basemen. He also made a diving snag down the line and threw a guy out and made a couple others routine plays. This guy is someone I cannot wait to see at the MLB level to see if it transfers or not. I wish they would add him before September 1st so he could be on the playoff roster. Talk about a nice pinch hitter to have. Hector Gomez also made a bunch of nice plays at short and mashed the ball last night. Three hits with a homer. Sean Halton also hit. Played RF and was horrible. He just cannot judge fly balls. Schaffer was trying to give him direction and I think even he was getting frustrated. Was fun to get to see some of these guys. Oh, and it was .50 cent hotdog night plus they were selling Miller Lite and Leinies so I felt at home!
-
I'll take Aram next season but after that, I'm good with him going on his way. I think with the way Jason Rogers is swinging the bat, we allow him to be the utility 1B/3B next season and if he continues to swing the bat, he's our 3B in 2016 and a cheaper option at that.
-
Nothing better than when your team is actually in a race come mid August and into September. So fun.
-
I went to bed (wasn't feeling well) but recorded it and just finished watching. What a fun game! Overbay was huge, along with Braun, Scooter , Lucroy, and Davis. Love it!

It may stink to have to do it but in the long run, it is who we will have to get through to win the ultimate prize. Getting to see these pitchers a few times, in the long run, will help us if we can get into the playoffs. The more familiar you are with a pitcher, the better.
