  1. This is a comment that is aimed indirectly at a lot of people who post on this board, & is out of line in terms of board etiquette. Please refer to said etiquette if you have any questions. viewtopic.php?f=73&t=4208 Whoa. I was more so talking in terms of the national media not buying into the Brewers because it's still "early." Wouldn't be negative in the optimism thread lol.
  2. Bump! Most seem to have a distaste for him, I sure as heck don't. Keep on winning RR. Congrats on #300 today! Moves him into 5th place on our all time managers wins list behind: 1. Phil Garner (1992-1999: 563-617) 2. Ned Yost (2003-2008: 457-502) 3. Tom Trebelhorn (1986-1991: 422-397) 4. George Bamberger (1978-1980, 1985-1986: 377-351) 5. Ron Roenicke (2011-PRESENT: 300-263) You'd think we'd appreciate him just a tad more than we do.
  3. I want whatever kind of homestand is required to maintain this lead on the Cardinals. No, no, no. We are not at this point now. We are at the point of the season we need to put the foot on the pedal even more. The bigger lead we can create, the better chance we have at holding on in the end if they make a push. The idiots who say oh well, it's still early in the season are looney toons. A win now counts the same as a win in September!
  4. People are pessimistic, that's why. He isn't supposed to be doing this well for us and a lot of people cannot give RR the credit deserved for making that move to start the season. Either way, either get on board or shut your pie holes because he's been absolutely fantastic this season. Keep pounding that zone Krod!
  5. Incredible season so far. The Cards are on our trail and it never feels like our lead is safe but maybe that's a good thing. Keep pushing, never satisfied. Would love for a winning home stand now. 5-2 would make me very happy! But I'll take 4-3 too lol.
  6. I feel like we have played down to the Rockies level defensively. Even Braun, get behind the ball and that tag up doesn't happen.
  7. More shocking that it's his 1st of the year. I see he's hitting for a high average with no power. I don't remember that from him. He always seem to hit 20 home runs.
  8. Another road series win. Get the sweep tomorrow! 16 games over and maintain a 5.5 lead in the central plus having the best record in the national league. Love it!
  9. Remember game started a little later with the rain delay.
  10. Without his 3 for 6 an 2 late rbis we might still be playing yesterday's game.
  11. "Give that young Brewer fan a ball" -Telly Hughes Kids wearing a Rockies jersey, dads wearing a Rockies hat. Nice reporting Telly.
  12. No DP. Clear the pitcher and get back at them next inning.
  13. Wow. That's some bad baseball. But we will take it. 2-2!
  14. Does the ball carry more in the day or night there? Anyone know?
  15. Dangit Rickie. You just cannot continue to do this. I want him so badly to be a part of this team and contribute but it's becoming more and more apparent that it just is not going to happen. I just wanted him a part of a winners since he was injured the last time around that we were relevant. Time to really go after other options DM. Dig deep Peralta, limit the damage!
  16. So we probably will struggle to score runs today then?
  17. Oh man please don't blow this game. These are the types of losses that can blow a whole series.
  18. Overbay has been a very good situational hitter this year. He may not look pretty but he's done some things to help this club win games. Including yesterday.
  19. http://www.brewerfan.net/ViewArticle.do?articleId=288&printable=true Still unsure if he actually was an option.
  20. Michael Brantley leads the Indians in homers and RBI's, and sports an OPS well north of .900. :D Really? Did not know that. Crazy. Still take CC though lol
