  1. Google is your friend took 1 minute to find one for 39.99. https://m.gamestop.com/product/accessories/xbox-one-kinect-adapter/132874 I'll try thanks! Not an online purchase item on in-store pickup. Good Luck me as there's 1 store in my city or else it's hour drive to Milwaukee stores. Edit add w/o posting a new. GameStop here and within 100miles(including Milwaukee) no longer carries this adaptor in their warehouses. Looks like I'll be in the market for a used XBox one since will be far cheaper than this adaptor alone.
  2. Sorry if this starts a semantics war on TOR again, but I just don't understand how people are undervaluing Archer still. I guess it's looking purely at ERA? Otherwise if you look at just the pitching leaders for the past two seasons (the two that people consider down years for Archer) he still ranks the following amongst qualified MLB starters: 2016 - 2017 MLB Ranks WAR - 9th (7.7) xFIP - 8th (3.38) FIP - 11th (3.60) K/9 - 5th (10.78) Even your more traditional stats are pretty good, ranking 38th with a 4.05 ERA and 34th with a 1.25 WHIP in a tough AL East. At worst, that puts him at a very, very good number 2 pitcher. And these don't even include his previous three "good" seasons where his ERA was in the 3.22 to 3.33 range. I can see the argument for not being an "ace", but he's definitely a top of the rotation arm and would be by far our best pitcher. Posted this find in the Odorizzi thread. Archer's avg velocity given up to Batters was 89.25. ML batters avg 87.27 Our main guys were under 86MPH. Archer gets hit Hard. He's only likely to regress as he ages and velocity goes down. You can't pay a team your top prospects for such a Pitcher. Woodruff was mid 83 on exit velocity. Burnes or Woodruff is just out of the question as their ERA potential exceeds Archers to this point. So you part with Ortiz or Ponce. The deal then gets acceptable. The Rays aren't moving from their ask though apparently and rightly Stearns is at no deal.
  3. Lucroy has no reason to sign with Milwaukee. Pina is the Starting Catcher. 1 year deal? What's Lucroy going to gain with under 80 games played? This to me is another case of Player won't bat over 800OPS so he must be replaced by someone who has that ability. Who Cares on the defense difference. Pina>Lucroy on Defense Arcia>90% of ML SS on Defense. Or the fear that Lucroy will put up AS numbers this year and we missed out by not signing him. Walker puts up solid numbers, our 2b don't. Well here we are under 40 days away from Opening Day and neither are signed by any other team. ST games start in 4 days. We'll get a live look how Pina/Villar did over the offseason. You can change your decision on playing these two still at this point.
  4. Shaw of 2016? Dickerson doesn't deserve this for what he's paid. FGs value had him over 20mil last season and it was over 11 the season before. Averages out to around 15-16mil value a season. Some team will pick him up. How it's not a trade beats me.
  5. Cain adds speed with his OB hitting. Easy 1. Stated this earlier in thread. Yelich notoriously has a low launch angle but hits it hard as a Lefty. Hit and Run/use that to advantage with man on 1b larger open field to hit to. There's no reason to bat Santana 6 if he remains on the team and put Villar #1. I really believe by the numbers and ages Santana should bat 3rd, Shaw 4th, Braun 5th followed by whomever at that point Walker would fit well there, Pina seems nice to put there with Vogt Platoon. 2b then Arcia. You basically have a full split R/L for 8 bats depending on Platoon. But that's with Santana remaining on team. Remove him and Braun stays at 3. 1b platoon to 5. I'd think the days you meddle with Villar atop the order are Braun days off then w/o Santana Cain 2, Yelich 3, Shaw, Aguilar, Phillips etc. just a few more days til ST games, we'll see shortly!
  6. Wow the schedule not as kind as usual. Pretty much you could skip #5 two times in first three through the order. (Giving the first 4 no extra days rest) And you could do that again in May skip #5 the first two times through the order by not giving the top 4 an extra days rest. And then skip #5 on first day off in June. If you follow this(health permitting) In May/June you would have #5 line up on a couple Sunday games. Or you use your #5 at best you can vs opponent's #4s or 5s. and Let the Offense win those games. It is supposed to look good at this time right? They've got their share towards making this team a winner. Down the stretch last year the Pitchers did their job and the hitters didn't. Yelich alone immensely improves the top of the order on consistency to help through the full season. Cain does as well(Health permitting) FWIW, Yelich's avg exit velocity last season was 90.44. Only 1 Brewer avg'd above 90 and you won't guess. ML avg for '17 was 87.27. The Lone Brewer above 90? Jesus Aguilar at 91.87! Cain checked in above avg 88.85. Less Ks and harder contact. So you are looking at an ability to maybe get by with 7 or 8? #5 starts in to June where Nelson may be on return status. I think Suter w/o adding another SP will do enough in that span. Not to beat a Clancy drum but, he did improve stats over '16 for last season. 7k/9 under .9HR/9. That beats his Fip may be calling with his 3.4 career ERA to 3.88 Fip career to date. He may not be a 33Game Starter you want, but Starting #5.5 he is producing very well. My Gosh, I had no clue Suter was 6'5"! To pitch his velocity at that height? With his control? I would have just guessed he was around 6ft. That height certainly helps downward plane. Avg exit velocity vs him was only 83.12 Nelson, Anderson, and Davies were all above 85 but under 86. Woodruff happened to as well be 83.54. Archer was 89.25 and Cobb 88.39 and Lynn 85.73. Looking at all these numbers, the Brewers are better than League avg on Extension whereas those other three are below League avg. Ground Ball pitching by Milw.
  7. What a flippin waste of a prized Christmas XBox gift for my daughter and I. The first gaming sytem Ive ever bought happens to be XBox One S. Included (huge selling point for daughter) was a Just Dance game of which you use a Kinect Sensor to play. I get a Kinect. Its plug in is made only for original One and not the S version. Yeah they seriously modified a back of system plug to not fit something that is used to play games with the console! Genius aspect #2, they stopped making this 1 adapter just after Christmas. Which finding out today, with my Kinect awaiting to be plugged in, came with Sold out on Microsoft page. $40 was Their purchase price. So outside sources to acquire this? Ebay for $300! Needs to be a lawsuit made out of this, as at no time buying the XBox Console and including a Game using a Kinect was I warned that I couldnt play this game on my console because impossible to connect a Kinect because of their stupidity to change ability to plug it in. Oh, and cease producing what fixes this problem! At same month this product is being bought for the XMas season.
  8. Badger, because you said the rotation is utter garbage. Your comment just now essentially is upset about #5's state. Yeah, that's an unknown. But generally for Milwaukee who what had Guerra Opening day Starter last year or was it Peralta? You often wonder what the Pitching rotation will be like after 1 or 2 names. Our best year in 2011 we had Chris Narveson as our #5. Randy Wolf with a 4.17ERA/4.85 Fip the season before as the #4 heading in to 2011. 2008 was Sheets and castoffs: Dave Bush, Manny Para, Jeff Suppan, and Seth McClung after Ben Sheets. The things you notice about those seasons is most of the guys had 33GS in '11 and 30start avg in '08 not including CC. We're heading in to the year with a staff that should be more consistent than those 2 seasons as constructed now, adding Cobb only makes it that much better, and we'd actually have depth to fill in for injuries. Sorry I took it too fan personally? to have a fellow Brewer Fan call this staff utter trash.
  9. Good Luck batting in San Diego with about 60 less PAs batting in the NL. He'll be lucky to beat 2.5 War calling SD his home. Someone called our staff Garbage, you want a garbage staff-Here it is the 2018 San Diego Padres. Poor infield defense will only make Hosmer's Defense look worse. Never should this guy have been given a contract over 5years.
  10. Ill have to give this a look over, but clearly above poster missed Stroman. Id have to see the under 1mil guys with value. 1st thing I notice is OFs a plenty. So how does this League work with the salary and roster construction? How many OFs are you allowed? 2 questionable 1b and 1 Catcher. So Im curious how this works? What happens for draft day? Are you on a spending limit then? Or are you free to pick whomever wasnt kept regardless the cost? May be the difference between keeping Grienke over a 600k guy. If it doesnt matter on future salary youre focusing on the 10best possible to keep within your 65-75mil range. If you do have a salary cap, then Id consider not keeping Grienke. But again thats if I find 10 worth to keep. Stroman&Harper are easy along with Lindor. Duffy for 5mil would seem logical as a mid-range lower salary value. Find out the health/OD status to guys like Snell/Robles. Colome seems a cheap Saves option, but the Rays are tanking it appears. Give us more to suggest on. What stats are counted for matchups? This salary thing is intriguing to learn more about
  11. Let’s wait to see if this is truly a “bag o balls.” Tampa has not been extremely well run lately but they’re a team of professional evaluators...I remember people making fun of our return of a bunch of low-A fodder for Lind. Now there’s Freddy Peralta. Palacios looks promising. Gotta think TB really likes him. Not defensively. Nor Base stealing. 20 of 34? SS RF was 3.97. Wasnt a lot of BBs, so he's Arcia lite full grade or 2 below at every aspect to Arcia. And thats if he maintains his production the higher he climbs. This is borderline ML starter or just a AAAA profile. Turns 22 this year with A ball highest level experience. You're right this is an equivalent to the Brewers trade of Lind, but its not as its 1 for 1 not 1 for 4.
  12. This is dropping a 10dollar bill, someone picks it up saying sir you dropped this while switching it for 1 dollar bill. If I were a Rays fan, id threaten becoming a fan for another team. What financial problem are the Rays dealing with? Where they cant get any value from two of their best players on their 25man? Should have gotten something better or rolled with these 2 til the trade deadline and got something better.
  13. Thing is, if you have Suter as your #5, you're probably not even competing for a wild card spot. The bullpen is good, but the starting rotation is utter garbage outside of Chase and (kind of) Davies No its not utter garbage. Chacin is far from utter garbage. Woodruff is a top 100prospect SP, better than Davies was ever considered. Nelson wasnt garbage before 2017. While he likely comes back from his '17 I'd hope its what he was before 17 and not garbage. You add Cobb it gives 5 solid pitchers&Nelson to work with. Consider this squad garbage, what was your description for them heading in to last season? Generally speaking the Brewers have had garbage pitching for them. If you're going to call this rotation garbage, I have no clue how youve lived being a Brewer fan?
  14. 162 game season. As constructed it wouldnt be a surprise any and all 5 starters win 20games. Davies almost did it for Milw last year. Hes not better arguably than maybe Chatwood. Full season Darvish&Quintana with NL starts improves their stats I figured by .1-.18ERA. Easier pitcher outs makes pitching deeper more likely. Barring a bad injury anything below 100wins is terrible season for Cubs. They have Maddon coaching them thats a plus. I agree 110 is realistic. I'll guess 105-111 at this stage with health. Brewers wont be competing with the Cubs for the Division w/o it all going right for them and something knocks the Cubs down. That said, adding Cobb doesnt change the 162 game needle over the Cubs. It does improve the needle on 7game matchup vs them. Get in the playoffs and the Mighty Cubs can be beat. We'll be a tough team for them
  15. Let's put this to light. Cobb's best pitch was off due to TJ return injury. What is Arrieta's excuse for losing his best pitch? Decline in velocity? control? Value is Cobb price and the likelihood that he earns his contract. Arrieta is going to be overpaid no matter the deal. Cobb puts any year with 30+ starts he is exceeding his contract. Arrieta will have to put 30+ starts yearly with better results to be worth his contract. my feeling is, the lost velocity ruined his best pitch along with confidence to throw it. He can never be who he was 2 years ago without that velocity returning. Unlikely at his age.
  16. We are very late in this offseason to make a number of minor 1-1 trades. It takes 2 to Tango, Rays and M's could have long addressed filling the needyou suggest they would be filling.
  17. You missed my parenthesis not the headliner.
  18. LOL, I would say the exact same thing for Davies. Clancy definitely has players that he likes, and those he doesn't like. I like Davies because he gets very good results and is cheap, but for the right price, I can see moving him, especially if the Crew can't sign him to an extension (I'd offer him seven years for $55 million, right now - $5 million per year for the first two years, $7.5 million a year for the next two, then $10 million per for the last three, and two team options for $15 million). Woodruff, I think has some real promise, but again, I'll move him for a TOR guy. I've explained my position on Arcia. I just have too many questions about his bat, and if I can leverage him and some of the depth elsewhere on the roster for improvements at positions of need, I'll do that, especially if I can get an Archer/Adames package from Tampa Bay. Adames, I think will give at least 50 more points of OPS than Arcia, if not more (he posted a .776 OPS at AAA Durham at age 21, compared to Arcia's .723 at AAA Colorado Springs at 21). If Arcia's bat can answer those questions positively, then I'll say he proved me wrong. I think Aguilar, Broxton, and even Thames are also options to include in a trade as well. Assuming a Santana/Aguilar/Arcia/Woodruff for Archer/Colome/Adames/McCarthy deal, I'm thinking a lineup of: 2b: Walker cf: Cain lf: Yelich 3b: Shaw rf: Braun 1b: Thames c: Lucroy ss: Adames Bench: Pina, Villar, Perez, Phillips, Vogt A rotation of Archer, Anderson, Davies, Chacin, and Suter A bullpen of Knebel, Hader, Colome, Logan, Albers, Jeffress, and Gallardo So you want Adames over Arcia who is basically a reverse more BBs than Arcia is with HRs. How's the defense compare? 4.18 Rf/9 in minors for Adames vs 4.83 on Arcia at the ML level. You create a more GB dependent pitching roster(well not Archer) only to leave an up the middle defense that is below average and expect a rookie SS to impact a WS built up roster? All the pitching becomes worse as GBs that are routine for Arcia to get to, go up the middle for base hits. Archer gives up 24HRs at MP alone not even counting road starts. (basing that on a 1.6HR/9 road split last year, 1.81HR/9 in '16) Archer is such a question mark moving to MP with what his deficiencies are and costing the team in three Helping MLs for him and Colome. Adames has got to be a negative Rookie consideration and maybe just a Replacement level player in year 2 when the bullpen guys are gone.
  19. Tom Murphy was around 50-60 I believe prospect rank. Kinda on the rise a bit of hype. But he stumbled out the gate, got injured and got put on the back burner for 17. He's basically good Lucroy comp projection playing at Coors.
  20. He has to take the mound 33 times in a season to be worth that higher amount. Not be a question mark every year if this will be the year he gets 30+ starts. Thats why .I dont want to trade for Duffy. He's 4/60 without that claim. So I'll take Cobb an equal to Duffy for 4/60 and keep my depth. Its why Id go upto 4/68 because 2mil per extra is worth it to keep your pieces trading for Duffy. The reason it's lower though is youre buying the thought process to 170IP and not 200-215.
  21. I almost did it but I won't. Staying on topic. Fangraphs listed Cobb for 4/60 and Cobb is coming down from that? I hadn't read that where was this stated? I would have done 4/68 so 4/60 is a no brainer but less? I look at it as adding a quality SP when on the mound and helps the team's competitiveness over the course of the deal. He misses games, but we have Woodruff/Suter and Burnes(even Ponce) coming up that should fill in as injuries occur. This wouldn't be that WS needle mover in terms of ToR heads up pitcher, but with Darvish removed, there aren't any left to sign. Trade would remove that depth for SP injury. I think with the Cubs getting Darvish, you have to move back to building quality team with smart signings and building a strong Minors system to replenish your losses to injury or performance. Something the Cubs are lacking and where you can overcome them when their injury riddled season or lost performance year occurs. Taking an Archer for your top prospects and leaving you w/o the depth I don't like as I agree the Cubs are closer to 110+wins than just a 100win team. Many here clamored for the upside of Chatwood and better results away from Coors. Yeah you have to put that in your beliefs for him to do so now as a Cub. Darvish, Jose Q that there is 3 very productive SPs adding Lester(who is at any point of decline with performance) Oh yeah Hendriks. It's an entire Starting 5 that are all #3s or better. Trying to face them head on by trading for Archer when 1 injury can then set you back is foolish. Our team isn't made up of #3s or better but has quality depth. It's one of those built team that is an itch you can't scratch. Nelson returns and is bad, we'd still have Woodruff or Chacin or Burnes even at that stage to replace the production you wanted from him at only a minor loss to the team. Cobb is a better performer when on the mound than other SP FAs we signed recently. The negative is when he's missing games.
  22. Which was decided today per Heyman. Odorizzi won. Good question and could be good news for teams wanting him given the Rays are supposedly trying to clear payroll. Made this assumption a bit back. If he's going year to year in Arb the decision in Odorizzi's favor would mean an expected increase on salary in the future than if he lost. And I'd imagine a team's trade offer being a B prospect vs a C prospect type of affect(not the headliner prospect in the deal) Take the Jakes in our system, maybe Gatewood if he lost, or Nottingham if he won.
  23. Agreed. $6.5M or $6.9M? Isn't that the sort of deal usually settled before the hearing for $6.7M, and your star pitcher is happy... Sounds like he's not as thick-skinned as he claims to be, and will be out of there the first chance he gets... I don't think I've ever seen that close in offer and ask for that high a price. I'd think Arbitrators wondered why are we here and you two hadn't settled for 6.7 or 6.75mil. Waste of our time.
  24. Expand the BWar 4 years it is 3.0WAR in 4 years. Fangraphs happens to be a lot nicer oddly with BWar's 2017 being way higher. 6.7FWar total over 4 years. I thought Cashner was actually put on Waivers at one point due to being so bad, but I guess he was traded? Anyway, May have to go to Padres for a franchise terrible trade sending Rizzo to the Cubs for him.
  25. You have to consider Duffy's 15mil per salary for 4 years. Merrifield has a .736 OPS career for minors, that bat is light and he's 29. Kansas City would be lucky to rid that contract with Merrifield for Santana alone. Woodruff inclusion is over the top. If you are paying 4/60mil for Duffy then just sign Cobb keep Santana and Woodruff. Merrifield at 2b is questionable of an upgrade over Sogard/Villar/Perez trio usage there. If it is it is miniscule and not worth including Woodruff to get him if Santana alone isn't enough to make this happen. Send them Villar since you are removing his playing time completely but never Woodruff.
