  1. To be fair couple well located pitches same with Shaw. Meanwhile a superb located strike 3 was called ball 3 and leads to a walk. And superb low pitch was called ball2. Williams being squeezed up and down.
  2. The only reason Hiura should be on the team right now is because of the 3 Brewers on IL, Urias, and Robertson being worse as a hitter. The moment Urias is healthy and any of the 3IL players come back Hiura needs to be optioned. Its the loss in depth and your starting SS day to day. Hiura is doing so bad theres reason to send him down and keep him there rewinding his clock and pick up another season of control. He'd become a Super 2 but with how horrible hes been what are you worried about on future money?
  3. Ballgame series win on road vs the Padres. Shutout. Faith in the bullpen! Burnes for Cy Young below 0.4ERA and 40ks to 0Walks. Sweep tomorrow! Let's Gooooo
  4. Ump has checked out strike two to Robertson was same out of zone. Seen Boxberger and Yardley both with outside strikes called in their favor. Hurry up he need his sleep.
  5. Gotta chuckle. Boxberger Ks Profar in 4 pitches. Battles Woody and Burnes with long ABs. So McKinney can play 1st. Taylor can play LF. Hiura should be optioned. Just a team control thought, Hiura has 1yr&114days Jader had 115days when pegged on Super 2. So you make it a sure safe thing after 10days not to lose that Super 2 cutoff by 1 day again.
  6. Daniel Robertson says hi. Forget mendosa line. Hes teetering at Sheets line. Jace is safe while Robertson exists.
  7. LOL are you new to being a fan of this offense? 11ks cool. Its the within 70pitches thats alarming. Especially since they have 2 HRs. Woody heroics after that 1st. Well done. 6 ip 1R on the road.
  8. Contreras would have been hbp 3 times that at bat if those locations were true as gamefeed shows. Gotta say I listened to 1st inning and after 27pitches to get thrpugh and 1 run i walked away assuming Woody wasnt going to go 5innings nor give up less than 4 runs. Yet here we are healthy line to make it through 6 and only that 1 run
  9. On relievers, Hader has 8Ks of the 11 outs he's recorded thus far. 0ERA. If your 9th inning guy is a lockdown somebody is going to ignore the others some bit this early in the season before trade deadline. Offense, well 3 of ypur top 5 highest paid players are on the IL. Something also that gets an overlook. 5th is an easy power ranking right now after the Starting Pitching. Come trade deadline the offense and other relievers outside of Hader will have to carry the pitching in Sept. Wonder who will be our Wade Miley/Chacin this Sept.
  10. He's gone from using Hader in a winnable game multiple innings if hes available to pitch to Im okay with him for 1 IP and don't care if we win or lose the game I use him in. Do 8 teams make the playoffs again?
  11. Well JBJ on 2nd will be a nice start. I was worried Vogelbach would be the last out. Can we put up 1 more 0 here and walk it off in 10th please? Edit welp ended quickly. Just walk the guy. What does Moran have a good 7RBI this series?
  12. One was a classic example of Hiura being afraid to make a throw that most 2B woukd make easily, and he opted to make the short throw to first. The one in the 8th was hit pretty much right on the bag and Vogelbach prudently decided to take the sure out instead of risking hitting the runner in the back. I haven’t seen the whole game so I don’t know what the third one is. Ah the 3rd I was thinking Mckinney ground out but they forced out Hiura at 2nd. Maybe I was thinking 3 groundouts and not 1 double play out of them. Lets hope our last out is a speedster or followed the walkoff hit!
  13. Nope. Hes had 2 other opportunities to do this with extra innings. Definitely feeling a Brewers walkoff in the 10th with the baserunner on 2nd.
  14. I feel like on gameday that is the 3rd straight groundball with a runner on 1st and didn't get the lead base runner out at second only taking out at 1st. Has there been no play at 2nd?
  15. I wondered the same thing on a Brewer HR earlier this season. Maybe it was Hiura's or Shaw just a bomb and statcast had it .990xba. Do they account for a dome stadium where it bounces off a roof beam?
  16. I was just about to post, it's the same 3 guys to beat the Brewers' pitching.
  17. Hmm Counsell letting Anderson pitch out of 1st and 2nd 0 outs. Anderson 7ip 1 R. Houser 4 1/3 1R 73pitches record for starters of 5IP giving up 1R or less in progress? Pulls him. This could be 10 Straight performances.
  18. I don't believe these 2 would want a contract extension with the age when they would enter FA. When discussing life changing earning then I think what they would be willing to do is sign a deal that buys out their team control and 1year extended with a buy out option. This would be something where maybe FA year you extend on being like 15-16Mil and the option year being mutual at 20Mil with 4 or 5Mil buyout. In other words they are being paid 20Mil for the 1 FA year extended beyond team control. The way these 2 are pitching and if continued near that healthy they are passing up 30mil-plus a year easy. Making the option mutual gives them the chance to go make that 30Mil plus in FA. Just don't know they really have the urge to sign a deal. Counsell babies their arms so how risky should they feel about suffering a life-changing injury.
