Conservatively you are advocating for adding 20+ million in payroll in 2021 which just isn't going to happen. Odorizzi has averaged 13 million the last two seasons with Minnesota. Alex Wood made 4 million last year Cabrera made 2.5 million last year Moreland made 3 million last year Maybe those players take cuts from last year, but isn't going to be by much. The Players will be the first ones to howl collusion if owners are suddenly asking them to take fifty cents on the dollar. Ok forget Odorizzi and Minor... Just add the 2 bats, that we should be able to afford.

I wouldnt mind Mitch Moreland as our 2021 1B, if his option isnt picked up that is. And Asdrubal Cabrera as our 3B. Moreland/Gyorko Hiura Urias Cabrera Yep, I like that! Then adding Alex Wood or Jake Odorizzi to rotation Woody Burnes Wood or Odorizzi Houser Lindblom Yep, like that as well! Keep Hader and see what happens!

I'm dead set on signing La Stella, acquiring Kirilloff+ from Minnesota for Hader and pickup option on Gyorko. That's all we need!
  4. DR28
How amazing would it be to add Kirilloff and La Stella to our lineup this winter! C - Narvaez 1B - Kirilloff 2B - Hiura SS - Urias 3B - La Stella LF - Yelich CF - Cain RF - Garcia or Braun DH (if permanent) - Braun Damn, I would love that offense!
  5. DR28
Wow I've never looked up the scouting report or stats on Alex before... As long as we keep Knebel to pair with Williams and Kirilloff is the headliner, I'm totally fine dealing Josh. Yelich, Hiura, Kirilloff leading our offense for the next 5+ years, oh my god yes! I doubt we could get Rooker or Larnach as well... Jeffers would be the next best thing.
  6. DR28
    How about Frankie Lindor??????? Haha
  7. DR28
I dont see a McNeil deal happening but I would love to take J.D. off their hands and put him back at 3B. Davis at 3B and Gyorko at 1B, yep I'm good with that!
  8. DR28
Agreed! Eric is getting the start against Cincy tomorrow. Woody Houser Burnes Lauer Lindblom (For at least next 2 seasons) This is a very underrated rotation, can't wait to watch these 5 prove the media wrong.
  9. DR28
We really need to build our rotation around Woody, Houser and Burnes.... Damn, I love that top 3! Finish the year with Woody, Houser, Burnes, Lindblom, Lauer in the rotation and see what happens.
  10. DR28
Three homegrown guys at the top, followed by a partially homegrown guy in Houser. Pretty exciting. Oh hell yes!!
  11. DR28
Woody Burnes Peralta Houser Lindblom Oh man do I love this rotation!!
  12. DR28
Woody gets the opening day nod... Anderson will pitch game 2 if he's healthy. I'm guessing, we'll go with Woody, Anderson, Houser, Lindbolm, Lauer... Really want Corbin in there but I dont think its gonna happen.
  13. DR28
Oh man, I forgot Houser. What's the need for Anderson again now?
  14. DR28
Yes, absolutely! I would love for Corbin to become our #2! I would love to see this rotation to start the year... Woody, Burnes, Peralta, Lindbolm, Lauer but I know Anderson will be in there somewhere so Freddy moves to set up role with Knebel... Which leads to Peralta, Knebel, Hader at the end of games, wow!
  15. DR28
Hey, two spots! I'll take it... Man, I'm really high on our top 5 tho... Mitchell, Turang, Small, Feliciano and Lutz... Can't wait to watch these guys progress! I honestly see Small as a poor man's Chris Sale and I really hope we lock up Woodruff long-term. Woodruff Burnes (He deserves another shot at starting) Small Peralta (Extension he signed belongs in the rotation) Lauer That really is a rotation to be excited about.
  16. DR28
McDaniel said Mace is returning for his senior season. Too bad, I really wanted to draft him... I wanted him or Criswell.
  17. DR28
I really like the Mitchell and Zamora picks... Replacement for Cain in a couple years and then Zamora stays at SS, moving Urias/Turang to 2B and Keston to 3B. I would have really liked to draft college pitchers with the remaining picks. But a potential team of: C - Feliciano 2B - Urias or Turang SS - Zamora 3B - Hiura LF - Yelich CF - Mitchell RF - Lutz Damn, that is beautiful to think about!
  18. DR28
Really surprised that Kelley wasnt drafted, he must want a ton of money or commit to Texas is strong.
  19. DR28
I wouldnt mind Criswell from Michigan or Mace from Florida... Big strong kids, very nice pitcher frames. Woodruff, Small, Criswell/Mace Hell yea!
  20. DR28
****, I would love to take a chance on J.T. Ginn. I know, I know... TJ this year but I give you.... Ethan Small and look at Walker Buehler. Ginn is top 10 pitching talent.
  21. DR28
Who are the good college arms left? After the top guys, I really didn't do much reading.
  22. DR28
Damn, I can't stop thinking our future... Yelich in LF, Mitchell in CF, Lutz in RF, Huira at 3B, Urias at SS, Turang at 2B... Woodruff and Small leading our rotation. Damn, future is bright!
  23. DR28
Don’t forget Lutz. Our OF will be stacked... Yeli, Mitchell, Lutz... Big power in the corners and elite speed in center.
  24. DR28
Oh yea, definitely. We’re gonna have 3 top 100 next year... Mitchell, Turang and Small.
  25. DR28
Holy ****, our OF is gonna be stacked!! Yelich Mitchell Lutz Wow, I can’t wait to watch that!
