The Brewers have a deal in place with righty Luis Perdomo, according to MLB.com’s Jesse Sanchez (via Twitter). It’s a minor-league arrangement. The 27-year-old Perdomo had been cut loose recently by the Padres. He’s expected to miss all of the upcoming campaign while recovering from Tommy John surgery.

Baseball America had Heriberto Hernandez as the Rangers #21 prospect on their latest update, Osleivis Basabe as their #14 prospect and Alexander Ovalles wasn't rated at all. Doesn't seem like too much to give up. Yea definitely not... Jesus christ, he would have been a perfect long term fit for us... That's annoying.

If Vogelbach is the player we saw, I think I would be ok with a Vogelbach/Cron platoon... I realize that means Vogelbach would get most of the starts since he's a LHH.

No kidding, Lowe would have been a perfect fit for us a 1B!! Doesnt sound like there was any big prospects involved... It was a six player deal tho.

Unless something changes, he's our starting 1B. Our most pressing need is still 3B, so I'd guess Stearns will try to fill that hole first, and if he still has resources left over and no bigger holes to fill, he'll look for a better option at 1B. I think it's more likely he finds a cheap RH bat who can platoon with Vogelbach, and maybe come in as a defensive replacement when we're ahead. Highly doubt that, his D is terrible... We'll find a 1B. -
To play 1B? Or are they actually considering a Yelich to 1B move, which I would support 100%! Has either played 1B before?

Seeing as the White Sox non-tendered Rodon, I would like to take a flier on him.... Woodruff Burnes Rodon Houser or Lauer (Or use Houser as a weapon out of the pen) Lindblom or Lauer That could be a really nice rotation. I believe we drafted Rodon out of high school?
