  1. Dude, I know what you mean. I was at Mayfair on Tuesday and they have a calender kiosk in the middle of the mall and they had all of their calenders 50% off. I need one for my work cubicle so I was gonna by the Brewers one. I seen Hardy and Hall were still on it and that changed my mind. I did not buy it.
  2. I think they are slightly better. To make the jump to playoff contender again, like last year it will come down to Parra and Bush. Can Parra finally take that step forward and pitch to his talent and can Bush stay healthy and pitch like he did at the end of 08' and before his injury in 09'? If the answer is yes to those questions I really like this teams chances. If it is no, they may be an 80 win team again. We will see, that is why they play the games. Can't wait for April.
  3. I still want another starting pitcher. Word is the Brewers are done, but how can Doug not get another starter? He has to, at least I think he does.
  4. I am wondering where it came from as well. It has an Arizona ice tea logo on the poster so they must have sponsored it. But where were they given away?
  5. Memorabilia wise all I got for Christmas was an Aaron Rodgers bobblehead. It's pretty sweet.
  6. Invader3k, I to remember that. I actually think it was Drew Olson who wrote that in one of his columns at onmilwaukee.com. Said he heard from a source in the organization that it could happen. I sure hope it does.
  7. I'm very thankful that all this rain is rain and not snow.
  8. It bugs me that the Brewers don't wear jerseys on the road that say "Milwaukee". Probably just beating a dead horse on that topic. but it just bugs me.
  9. I have no problem bringing Mulder in on a minor league deal. Low risk and maybe he has something left in that left arm, who knows maybe he comes in and does well.
  10. It seems Joba will go to the pen, might as well make him the 8th inning guy now so when Rivera finally does retire he can slide right into the closer role in NY. I would love to get Hughes for our rotation, just not sure how much we would have to give up. Probably too much.
  11. This snow seemed like the snow from the storm a few weeks back. This time my snow blower handled it no problem. Of course this was only 3 or 4 inches compared to the 12 we got last time. Super wet and heavy.
  12. "There had to be another way!" "The doll was ripped to shreds."
  13. "I'm Back For More Cash" by Tony Kornheiser. It is a bunch of his columns from the Washington Post put into a book. Pretty funny and entertaining.
  14. Gallardo better start Opening Day in 2010. Suppan starting last season was a joke. If Wolf starts, I wouldn't be to upset, but come on it's Gallardo.
  15. No doubt and a charge on top of it. The officiating in the game last night was a complete joke.
  16. In our division, if you are around 87 wins you are contending in September. That would be nice.
  17. I was really hoping Melvin could have made a deal for Correia. Darn. Gallardo, Wolf and Correia would have been a nice top 3.
  18. They are optimistic numbers, but if true or close to true would be pretty good. I would be happy with them.
  19. I wish Escobar or Gomez could prove to carry a high OBP in 2010 so one of them could beat leadoff so Weeks could move down in the order in more of a run producing role. But I don't see it happening. So I am sure Weeks will once again be miss cast as a leadoff hitter.
  20. I would say a rotation of Beckett, Lester, Lackey, Matsuzaka and Wakefield would be pretty nice. Edit: Forgot they also have Clay Buchholz. Wow.
  21. I think Seattle is going to be my preseason pick to win the AL West. A rotation headed by Lee and Hernandez is going to be sick. I also like their offense, and it seems Jack Z is not done.
  22. Very happy they tendered Bush. If he is healthy he is a fine #4 and close to a #3. But he has to be healthy and revert to his 2nd half of 08' form and pre line drive off elbow 09' form. Looks like Kottares or Lucroy will be Zaun's backup and I am fine with that.
  23. I think Pam and Erin both fall under cute, not hot. But I find Pam better looking overall.
  24. All of Andy's ideas for April's gay boyfriend were hilarious. And it was great how specific he was about what Reggie Wayne jersey he wanted. I really want to get season 1 on DVD, but it never goes on sale. And it's like $25 for a 6 episode season. A bit steep for me.
