I would rather have a Hall/Lamb platoon this season then Crede. Gamel should be ready in 2010 if not at some point in 2009.

According to Tim Brown at Yahoo Sports if the Brewers move Cameron and have some extra cash they will get in on Brian Fuentes.

If we are gonna trade a player the caliber of Escobar I want back a big league ready and proven pitcher. A HUGE prospect like Alcides should bring that back in return.

I went to Miller Park on my lunch break today and picked mine up (thanks Pedro). Watched the documentary and it was very well done, lots of great memories. Right now I'm reliving the final game of the season. It's awesome.

I heard on tonight's show 12/15 Ken Macha will be a guest.

If Cashman wants Cameron he needs to realize it will be straight up for Cabrera and we are not paying any of Cam's salary. I hope they get this deal done soon.

Very glad they did this. I hope Cappy can return and contribute something to the club. Even as a long man or something.

Seems this was a lot about nothing. I emailed Haudricourt today and he has not heard a thing about it. Also said he heard Peavy would nix a trade to Milwaukee anyway.

I love the fact they are including the entire final game of the season against the Cubs with the celebration. A very special day in Brewers history to relive forever.

I wouldn't mind Aaron Miles. But I would be content with Hall and The Hurricane.
  11. BrewCrewForever
Where did you see it for sale?
  12. BrewCrewForever
This would be awesome. Peavy and Gallardo at the top of the rotation, I really like the sounds of that. This deal would put all the moving JJ rumors in a trade or to a new position to dead, and I assume would get him a new contract at some point as well.
  13. BrewCrewForever
Really trading Mike Cameron is going to send you over the edge to do that?
  14. BrewCrewForever
Love the new design. Looks really great. I just hope they don't make everyone's picture Vlad Guerrero, which I'm sure they won't.

I hope they just forget Igawa and Hall in the deal and just do Cameron for Cabrera straight up.
  17. BrewCrewForever
Yeah that "losing streak" sure he had some bad outings but he also had some real nice ones that he lost when the offense went right in the tank.
  18. BrewCrewForever
Yeah Creed's shadiness toward everything doesn't get old to me either. Love it.
  19. BrewCrewForever
I hope they miss the playoffs again. I will really laugh, again. Can't wait to hear little Steinbrenner's excuse this season.
  20. BrewCrewForever
I think it's funny the Yankees think they are in a position to tell people to pick up contracts. Outrageous.
  21. BrewCrewForever
Yeah he had a nice season last year. He would be a great utility guy off the bench.
  22. BrewCrewForever
At first I was not a big fan of this trade. But the more I think about the youth/potential of Cabrera, cost/years under control and the fact he is a switch hitter I love the deal. I just hope Melky does improve and turns into the hitter the Yankees hoped he would.
  23. BrewCrewForever
That is a good point, and we all know how the rest of Molitor's career ended up. It was damn good.
  24. BrewCrewForever
Love CC, love Ben. HATE the Yankees and everything about them. I would love to see those two do fantastic but the rest of the team fall flat on their overpaid old butts.

If we don't keep Kapler I would for sure want Gross back as the 4th OF. I'm totally on board with that. I also wouldn't mind taking a chance on Saito for a cheap price.
