  1. I think they will be fine for 10 days without him. Has not really been doing much and with Cain being activated again they have such good OF depth. Taylor has been ripping the ball hard just about every AB. He should be playing somewhere every day and they can fill in Cain, Garcia and JBJ in the other two spots.
  2. I was thinking about this the other day, if Willy keeps this up and Yeli turns back into the human cheat code, with this pitching staff and the other quality role players in the lineup a World Series Championship is maybe even more realistic than it was in 2018.
  3. This is fantastic news. Getting Topa back could really give a boost to the pen.
  4. Adames probably would have been an All-Star if he started the year in MKE, the way he has played since he got here May 22nd. Heck, if he had been healthy all season, Kolten Wong would have been worthy as well.
  5. I was so pumped and looking forward to seeing Mitchell in person. Had tickets for the Rattlers game June 25th, it got rained out. I told my wife and boys, by the time we can make it up to another game he will be promoted to AA. Sure enough, lol. Oh well. Bummed we missed him, but he sure deserved that promotion. At least Joe Gray Jr got promoted to Wisconsin. Looking forward to seeing him later this summer when he cash in our tickets for a different game.
  6. That was one of the most amazing innings ever and games. Such a fun, team win over a hated rival. Love it.
  7. Going to the Timber Rattlers game tonight, first time I am making the trek north with the family since like 2012-2013. Hope the rain holds off just enough. Want to see Mitchell, Howell and Cantrelle in person. Got nice seats right behind the Rattlers dugout. My boys are pumped.
  8. Thanks, I was wondering the same. Hope he is at Carolina at minimum sometime this summer.
  9. Yeah, I am starting to get concerned. He has not played in what 3 weeks now?
  10. He just does not look like the same guy pre knee injury in September 2019. I know last year was weird and he has been hurt this year. But still, just does not appear to be the same player. I have at least thought about how concerning that is.
  11. The insanely low volume on the Bally app is becoming super annoying.
  12. Had my second Pfizer on Friday. Sore arm for a day and that was it. Very blessed I had no other side effects at all. Went to the park with the kids and played baseball Saturday morning and felt good all day. Same on Sunday, no side effects went to church and then did yard work.
  13. Going to the game tonight. Excited for the pitching matchup I get to witness live. With these two I expect a low scoring, quick game. Having said that it will now probably be a 4 hour slog with 10 plus combined runs scored
  14. Thank God for the Fox Sports Go app and having your parents login from their cable provider.
  15. Had my first shot last Friday. No side effects at all other than my arm hurt a little bit, but that was gone by Sunday. Second shot April 23rd. Looking forward to being fully vaccinated. Glad I got one down.
  16. I think he plays at some point. Might be June or July or even later. Depends on how the roster shapes up with injuries and what not. I'd love to see him back for a actual sendoff with fans in the stands, but it needs to make sense for the team and if they really feel he can contribute in some way.
  17. Yes, lol. Going into the 2019 season I was somewhat serious, mostly tongue and cheek referring to them as the next big 3 ala Maddux, Glavine and Smoltz. Of course they won't reach those heights but still a possibility to be pretty darn good.
  18. My tickets are still in Loge, but instead of 1B side like they should be, got moved over to 3B side in the sauna area. Lol. Oh well, I can handle it for a year or maybe less. Just going to be happy to be back at live baseball games again. I can deal with a sun burn and sweaty back.
  19. My stab at Opening Day 26 Man: C: Narvaez, Pina IF: Wong, Hiura, Shaw, Arcia, Urias, Robertson OF: Yelich, Cain, Bradley Jr, Garcia, Fisher SP: Woodruff, Burnes, Lindblom, Houser, Anderson RP: Hader, Williams, Suter, Topa, Yardley, Rasmussen, Peralta, Boxberger
  20. No tailgating stinks, but I totally understand why and I am not upset about it. Yes it is outside, but some of those tailgate parties grow pretty large. They just want to avoid as many large crowds together, it makes sense. I'm sure at some point during the year they will allow it. I am just thrilled that I will be able to go to games in person this season. I will follow whatever protocols they have. Our family had to at Disney and Sea World in February and it was a great time.
  21. Exciting news. So 11,000-12,000 fans. Wonder how many total season seat holders there are? I have been a 20 pack holder since 2013. Hope I am included.
  22. So I see under Educator on the DHS site they include all staff of out of school time programs. I teach my son's 1st grade Christian Formation class at our Catholic church's school. Would that qualify me or am I out of bounds?
