Mat Gamel is just on fire. Really hope he gets a chance to come up and play next for the Crew. He has earned it in Nashville this season at the plate and in the field. -
Uggh, Liriano looks like his good self. Could be a long night. Gallardo on the other hand is starting to go in the direction of Manny Parra as of late.
-
You read my mind. Yes to all of those moves. Would be great. Not holding my breath though. I will be satisfied if they call up one of Gamel or Green.
-
Now that Kottaras is the catcher that plays when Wolf pitches I am fine with it. Get another power bat in the lineup and give Lucroy a day off at least once per week. Now if Nieves was still our #2 catcher that would be a different story. Hopefully Wolf can keep his strong season going tonight.

Doug lived Wisconsin sports like us the fans. That is why I enjoy listening to him. He knows his stuff and is passionate about the teams like we are. I would like him to catch on with 540. Maybe take over their Brewers post game show, that would be sweet. Have him right up against TA and Sparky. In addition to Doug doing the Brewers post game show maybe they could have him do various other things at the station.

Don't see any reason that Khris Davis shouldn't be in AA. Dominated A and A+. See what he has at AA the rest of 11' so he can start at AAA in 12'.

Hey I am all for cutting Betancourt over Wilson or Counsell to bring up Green. That would be best case scenario, but I get the feeling the powers that be won't do that. Hope they prove me wrong.
-
I am all for bringing Taylor Green up at this point. My question is who's place does he take on the 25 man roster? I would say Counsell or Wilson. I think I would rather have Wilson than Counsell. Or maybe they bring Green up and drop Kotsay. That would be best case scenario but then you only have one backup OF. I was hoping that when/if they drop Kotsay they would recall Brandon Boggs.

Only reason I listen to 1250 was Doug Russell in the morning and the post game show with Tim Allen and Sparky. Now that they made a dumb decision and let Doug go I will only be tuning in for the post game show. Hope to see Doug land on his feet doing something else here in Milwaukee on radio or even TV. To me Doug was professional and really knew the local sports, especially the Brewers and Packers.

I have been a Ron Roenicke supporter and still am. But even I can't defend his bullpen management. He needs to figure it out or get more input from Narron and Kranitz on it.
-
Can't wait for Saito, Braddock and Kintzler to come back. This bullpen is scary to watch save for Axford (and even he makes it too interesting sometimes).
-
Betancourt and Gomez batting back-to-back in a lineup is disgusting to watch. Easy outs for the other team.
-
So TBS will only be available to those outside of Wisconsin? Damn. I wanted to watch their broadcast instead. Figure Anderson will be doing the game for TBS and FSWI will be stuck with Coshun, who is awful as a play-by-play announcer.
-
Easily one of the best games I have ever been to. So much fun. You could feel the electricity in the stadium.
-
Okay Zack, today is as good a day as any to have your first truly ace like, dominating outing for the Brewers.

Carlos Corporan Still Hitting 1.000
BrewCrewForever replied to Jim Goulart's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I remember that Corporan game. They killed the Reds that game, didn't Braun hit a grand slam? -
Ryan Braun: Best Brewers Player Ever?
BrewCrewForever replied to bucksman4's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
He has a great shot to be the best Brewer ever. But it will be hard to pass Yount and Molitor. I would probably put him 3rd right now ahead of Cooper and Fielder. I think if Braun stays healthy he has a great chance to be a Hall of Famer. If he does that he will be right there with Yount and Molitor. I love Braun. -
Does anyone know how hard Braddock has been throwing during his rehab outings? Was his velocity a little better than it was when he was early in the season?
-
Thornburg with a dominate outing. He has been very impressive this season. Hope they move him up at some point this season and see what he has against better competition.
-
He has a shot at 100 walks this season or darn close. I could see 30/30 from him this year to. Love Braun.

Really loving that next year we should get Gallardo, Marcum and Lucroy. That is a great lineup of bobbles. -
Brewers Bobblheads on eBay Thread

That Aaron is pretty sweet. Last month I seen it at this vintage collectibles store in WI Dells, I think they wanted $75 for it. I almost bought it. -
As far as new shows in their first seasons, my wife and I have really gotten into "Breakout Kings" and "Happy Endings". Hope they are both back for second seasons.

The "Parks And Recreation" Thread
BrewCrewForever replied to BrewCrewForever's topic in Off-Topic Forum
While The Office season finale was lackluster, this was great. Entertainment 720, with Detlef Schrempf on retainer! All the different reactions to Little Sebastian's death were great. "Fly, fly, fly Little Sebastian!" -
This show that I loved so much for years just keep disappointing me now. Another let down. I did enjoy the Ryan stuff though, best he has been in some time. Even in this down season there are always some funny parts to the shows but the episodes just are not as good overall as they used to be.
