  1. If the tables were turned and we had just moved this package for Lucroy I truly wonder what the tone would be.
  2. Na could easily see the Brewers package providing more total value
  3. I am quite certain GM's don't care about Baseball America lists. Meija easily has the highest ceiling of those three. Can you explain how you see that? Because in my mind a 5 tool CF is more valuable than a 3 tool catcher who possibly has attitude problems. Zimmer and Meija are close but I give the edge to the C with a 70 arm and 60-65 hit tool. Zimmer may be average or slightly better in all 5 categories but not by much. I'll take the very loud tools. Lucroy is kind of jerk by the way too in case you haven't noticed. Frazier is the safe one.
  4. I am quite certain GM's don't care about Baseball America lists. Meija easily has the highest ceiling of those three.
  5. Guys Chapman and Miller are first tier RP with very long track records. Jeffress, Smith and, Thorny are good by c'mon.
  6. Also, before we know the 4th piece it looks to me like we added another 3 players with projected 50+ future value.
  7. Before we get out of control on how hard to handle Mejia might be try to remember Lucroy was not always the easiest to deal with either. I am thrilled to get a catcher with this kind of arm and hitting talent.
  8. For Nick Ramirez? Sure why not
  9. Meija, Chang and Allen all mix in with the Ray, Phillips, Erceg, Diaz, Clark, Nottingham wave of offensive talent. Wow
  10. Maybe he blocked the deal to CLE?
  11. Yes. The silence is horrible. I am amazed how quiet it has been since about 9 central
  12. I think things are about go crazy. At least three trades by deadline. Fair chance for more. Stearns has elite patience but also elite organization with a detail oriented approach. He is ready to take advantage of this rare market.
  13. Clint Coulter with a couple of triples and walk on his BDay. Joantgel Segovia up to .311 with a .399 OBP by the way.
  14. Rangers: Gallo is fine and would be a nice fit in our park and rebuild but I would also want my choice of pitcher if I am the Brewers. Hedge with Gallo but get our favorite arm in the system too. Mets: Again, Rosario and then my choice of any pitcher in the system and we are almost there Indians: start with McKenzie and give me one of the top hitting prospects
  15. Not sure who is looking to make fun of you but you are hardly the first to suggest we got a steal when we drafted a top 50 prospect in the 4th round. Those same MLB folks had Corey Ray as the best hitting prospect in the entire draft by the way. You have been especially hard on him for some reason.
  16. Nunez definitely has some offensive talent but his defense is not great and he is about to be the primary utility player for the Giants. Kinda like his offensive fit in the NL West I spose.
  17. Arizona Brewers roughed up Cal Quantrill a little bit today.
  18. This narrative that Arcia is struggling is just plain wrong. The defense is outstanding, the XBH's are piling up, and the walks are steady. He is very young for AAA. Enough with that junk. The guy is an outstanding prospect.
  19. Could not agree more. I want to know on what planet our system is considered disappointing.
  20. Can you please explain what "blind pedigree" is exactly?
  21. This is our best minor league system in almost a decade. People can choose to focus on the negatives but that is ignoring the whole.
  22. 17:10 BB:K for Joantgel Segovia in 2016. Definite a good candidate to explode over second half of short season. 11:7 for Weston Wilson too. Lots of draftees off to exceptional starts.
  23. The best course of action would be to make Chapman a starter now a la Wainwright and lol at all the haters
  24. The only out Isan made last night was actually a very well hit ball that the LF dove and caught. Edit: eh, I may be wrong about that. Too many Diaz's.
