  1. Wow, that play by Segura made me not regret watching so far. Very nice.

  3. A friend of mine got one. She said it was more of a cheap hard plastic than the rubber material they've used in the past and that several already had the paint flaking off. She also said that while people weren't hoarding them she did see some going around and stealing the game tickets out of the attached pouch on multiple figures.
  4. Dude's got a million entries on CCAP http://wcca.wicourts.gov/pager.do;jsessionid=636F963A31A2F14EC1961A7F73DB9948.render6?cacheId=7BF6AB77A11C413119B130C644C67C3A&offset=0&sortColumn=0&sortDirection=DESC
  5. I read his autobiography. It was horrendous http://www.amazon.com/Call-Me-Lumpy-Beaver-Hollywood/dp/1886110298
  6. I'm still laughing at this picture http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v288/gypcasino/533379_4679985121916_610158801_n.jpg
  7. Wouldn't want anyone to retire to the Caribbean on the $9.99 they'll pocket if they sell that baby on eBAY.
  8. I'm pretty much indifferent but in regards to Amy but there are too many assumptions here and filling in of the blanks without any evidence to back it up. On both sides. Unless some people here know her personally and I missed that.

  10. http://www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/milwaukee-brewers-portable-potty-ban-doesnt-raise-a-stink-ij9d6ll-201149571.html "For opening day and other anticipated sellouts, about 100 Waste Management portables dot the parking lot. If even half of the 44,000 fans tailgate, that comes out to 220 people per potty. The number of units is lower for other games, but never below 62, Brewers spokesman Tyler Barnes said. That's actually a dramatic improvement; as recently as 2006 the number stood at 16."
  11. Same laughably inadequate amounts of Porta Potties and 30 plus minute lines, depending on where you were, as always. We were in the east lot. I saw a line like 8 deep right when we were pulling in at 9:30. I went to the Sausage Haus bathrooms because I had to drop a deuce (not allowed in our Brew Loo) around 11:30 and there was a huge line and the paper towel dispensers didn't work. Two here and four there doesn't cut it. And then to tell everyone like 3 days beore that they can't bring their own? Absurd. Because I'm sure nobody rented one ahead of time. There were still plenty there that I saw. Just another idle threat ala you can't get into the parking lot without a ticket on Opening Day one or the everyone has to be out of the lot one hour after the game. Even Leff's when they did their Opening Day tailgate had like 30 of 'em just for their private party. Yeah, it's only one game but with that many people in one spot, come on. Like go to like Jazz in the Park or Summerfest or whatever and there are long rows of Porta Potties, not a couple placed here and there hundreds of yards apart.
  12. There's nothing to clean out. We use a 5 gallon bucket lined with one of those camping toilet bags. There's some kind of gel or powder in it, I can't remember which. We put it in the corner of a UHaul with a curtain around it. It's all very orderly. Nobody's peeing all willy nilly up to the tippy top of a sloshing bucket. And as far as the official Porta Potties we're not talking no waiting or 5 or 10 minute porta potty lines, as previously mentioned. I think last time I stood in line before we had this I was in line for 45 minutes. And again, the amount the provide is laughably inadequate for an event this size, sorry. Like someone said here or at jsonline, the suits need to come down from their luxurious palace digs and take a few laps around the parking lot and see what goes on.
  13. This is what we use http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v288/gypcasino/Photo0129.jpg

  15. Good to hear. I figured you might go down there since I know you're close. I got a pair in 420 row 12 for someone in our group. Plus I used my On Deck grab bag free ticket voucher and got 2 in the first row of 230 for the game on 4-3. And I had a $50 gift certificate that I used for 2 in 121 row 13 at half price for the 5 county promotion. I was pretty happy with my purchase.
  16. I saw them advertised at Discount Liquor's Milwaukee location (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave) when I was there last weekend. It said you got one free with a 24 pack Miller Lite can purchase. I believe for $16.99. ETA: link http://www.discountliquorinc.com/uploads/Discount-Liquor-Inc-Ad_2013-03-21.pdf MILLER LITE, MGD & MILLER 64 24 Pack 30 Pack Cans Cans $16.99 $19.39 FREE BREWER FLAG W/24 OR 30 PACK CASE
  17. I was just at the ticket office redeeming a voucher and using a gift certificate for some tickets and they had pairs together in the Terrace for Opening Day. They're only open until 7P but if you're in the area and need tickets it's worth a shot sometime this week going down there in person.
  18. To add to Patrick's tips, once you're exited off Miller Park Way and if you're parking in the general Yount/Uecker/East of the river lots, once you're pointed east on what turns into Canal St ("Frederick Miller Way") officially get in the far right lane. A lot of people think that the far right lane is only for traffic that wants to continue east on Canal. But you are able to turn left once you get up to Canal. It'll possibly save you a little time.
  19. We always take MP Way but yeah, coming off National doesn't work too well. You have to get on farther south like at Burnham. There's still a wait but you're pointed north from the get go.
  20. I live in an apartment building and I haven't had to turn my heat on all winter. The temperature in my apartment has dipped below 70 to 68 or 69 for the past week or so but earlier this winter it would be as warm as 78 or 79. I'm not sure if it has to do with what side of the building I'm on or what. It's kind of odd. It's a brand new building so maybe it's well insulated or something. But anyhow what's bugging me is those two dorks on the Sonic commercial eating lunch with their seatbelts on.
  21. Yeah, it's always interesting to witness the distinct stages of drunkenness as you walk from the back of the lot to the front. By the time you get to the first few rows by the bridge, everyone is having a noticeably good time.
  22. Keep checking Brewers.com between now and game day. If you're diligent enough you'll get tickets at face when they release them.
  23. "...when at any one time during the game 15% of the crowd realizes what's going on, while the other 85% is either blackout drunk, doing beer bongs in the parking lot, standing in an hour long bathroom line, vomiting in the concourse, or standing in line for three innings to get a brat..."
  24. Still waiting for a 10 pack here too.
