  1. My usher buddy said I don't want to see the way they're cooked now. He also told me what he and his fellow ushers refer to the kitchen operations as but it was kind of offensive.
  2. Absolutely. It's not the cost itself but the cost to quality gap is astonishing. I just remembered at the last game I was at last season I had the "Johnsonville Ultimate Bratwurst." For what it cost it was laughably bad. I'll pay whatever for a beer because I like drinking beer but I usually don't get food unless it's a SSH discount day and I̶ ̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶s̶c̶r̶e̶e̶n̶s̶h̶o̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶'̶s̶ ̶S̶S̶H̶ ̶c̶a̶r̶d̶ go with my SSH friend who gets the 25% discount. That tends to soften the blow.
  3. Not sure who these people are that are giving the quality high marks but the quality is generally abysmal https://www.cbs58.com/news/cheaper-concessions-new-experiences-and-rule-changes-the-brewers-plan-to-get-attendance-back-to-pre-pandemic-levels "People said that they liked the concession offerings, they like the quality, they like the speed of the lines but they thought some of the prices were too high," Schlesinger. "So, we did a conscious effort in the offseason to offer value meals and reduce some concession prices."
  4. underwhelming https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2023/03/27/american-family-field-food-concessions-change-for-2023-brewers-season/70053978007/ Visit our comprehensive guide to AmFam:
  5. As far as basketball games go my buddy's an usher at Fiserv. He said for Bucks games they tried to do a stop in play thing like hockey where you couldn’t walk to your seat during game action and it lasted the first half of the first game before it was abandoned. Most ushers weren't assertive enough to enforce it which resulted in the ones who were stopping. He also said they tried it and it worked for most of the Marquette games that season because their fans actually watch the game and don't move around as much.
  6. Got an email offering $9 terrace seats for Opening Day. Has the home opener novelty dropped off a cliff?
  7. I live 8 minutes away and never considered going. Being at such a small venue it seemed like the kind of thing people line up for 6 hours ahead of time. I'm not sure why it needed to be advertised at all. Word of mouth would have had it easily filled up regardless. I'm wondering how many people were in line when they reached capacity.
  8. It was kind of addressed here
  9. Right, just choose "Not Now" when it asks if you want to sub or get a free trial and it takes you to the main screen where you can click on the game.
  10. Gotcha. Makes more sense then if it was a callback. I was working and had the game on in the background and was only half paying attention.
  11. Yes it's 5 O'clock somewhere according to Bill Schroeder. Odd thing to say at 9pm but whatever.
  12. Edit: tix claimed sorry if on wrong board but trading post seems to get not much traffic
  13. can’t wait https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2022/05/10/milwaukee-brewers-bring-back-1982-world-series-team-fielder-braun-and-more/9720963002/
  14. They had a huge pile of them at the clubhouse sale. I’ve got an extra if you’re interested.
  15. Sorry, yeah I forgot to specify presale
  16. My credit for DS game 5 and the 4 games of the CS showed up today on my credit card account as pending today.
  17. Bat day I believe was in July. My buddy Matt went to the game and got one. We played ball with it and it left green marks on the ball. I was at the Henderson game with my dad which happened late August.
  18. [sarcasm]Looking forward to next year’s 40th anniversary festivities celebrating that time we went to the World Series.[/sarcasm]
  19. Cheers, thanks! 3 hours, but they will start letting people in once the line backs up onto the highway. Which is pretty common for postseason games and opening day. I’m in line for the Uecker/Yount lots right now. Not a ton Of people in line. Doubtful they’ll open early. Edit: they opened the lots at noon
  20. Thanks for the recommendation. I watched the first 3 episodes yesterday. Very entertaining.
  21. I’m in the north of 8 camp
  22. Anyone make it to the scavenger hunt this morning. Nice job keeping it stealth to avoid anything the gnome debacle.
  23. Reopening Day 6-25 https://www.cbs58.com/news/brewers-to-celebrate-re-opening-day-on-june-25-game-time-moved-to-afternoon
  24. I was looking at that MLB Food Fight Bracket https://www.mlb.com/news/featured/mlb-food-fight-bracket-to-determine-best-ballpark-food where teams “put up their ballpark's signature food item against each other for the title of best food in baseball” and noticed the Brewers entry was something called the Double Play Burger. I had to look it up and it’s something that’s only available at the RTBNL. Pretty weak, but maybe even they know that the vaunted bratwurst with secret stadium sauce is actually garbage.
  25. This is awesome. I saw 198 and 180 is the next pitstop for me. I'm excited for you. The hardest part of IF is the first few days, but I kinda like how it tests my willpower and as long as it doesnt have series health risks I'm going to keep doing it for the time being. Thanks, I appreciate it. The "good" thing about starting out so heavy is that just with a few adjustments I was able to see results within a few days which was encouraging and kept me going forward. I live by myself so I can have as much or as little food around as I want. Plus I've been working 11:30am-8:00pm which is a built in excuse to decline dining out opportunities. Good luck going forward.
