  1. I’ve generally been doing one meal a day also, one huge meal between 11a-12p. I’m currently down 88 lbs since June 18 of last year. I was down 80 by the middle of February and I’ve kind of leveled off since then. I probably drink too much and like stoutdude I do it up on the weekends sometimes. But overall I’m very happy. I’m going to make a a push to get under the 200 lb mark which I don’t think I’ve seen in over 20 years.
  2. Thanks for the heads up. That was fun. I entered every game I have a record of attending. I’ve seen 32 teams in 11 ballparks with the home team’s record being 137-128. The Brewers are 133-123. Of the 4 teams I’ve seen them play the most the Brewers are 10-16 against the Cardinals, 14-9 against the Pirates, 13-7 against the Reds, and 10-10 against the Cubs. I need to do some further cross checking as there are some more games I’ve been to.
  3. Which also works nicely for infiltrating the Club Level when you don't have a Club Level ticket but know somebody that does.
  4. This is pretty fascinating https://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/30009629/how-coronavirus-internet-tons-money-unexpectedly-fueled-sports-cards-biggest-boom
  5. I’m still at it, down 37 lbs since June 20th. I’m at about a 19:5 fast lately. And walking 3 miles a day. I get full pretty quickly and don’t really have any cravings. I might be eating too many carbs but I’ve generally been around 2000 calories or less a day. Besides the weight loss, with the fasting and drinking less alcohol my quality of sleep is 100 times better too.
  6. Keep watching more breaks and you’ll be 100% scared away if you weren’t already. Then go buy scratch offs or pull tabs if you really have a gambling jones. A buddy of mine does breaks for a card shop in the area, hobby boxes, jerseys, mini and full size helmets, you name it. And they fill up instantly. They’ve got a nice core group of customers who seem to have unlimited disposable income. I’ve gotten in a few and haven’t won anything. Sometimes if I’m bored I’ll watch the breaks live on YouTube and some of the hits are just laughable. The last one was 2 Gold Rush autographed mini helmets. It was $15 a line and there were 16 lines so you got 2 teams. I can’t remember what was pulled but it was complete trash. Otherwise some of the product is mid bogglingly astronomical. Like 4 figures for 2 packs of cards. Basically it’s just like a trip to Poto, get in not expecting to win and if you do win something good it’s a nice surprise.
  7. I was eating and drinking a lot for the first three months or so of Covid and it was affecting my sleep and I was always nauseous so I finally decided to reverse course in June. I don’t want to say my starting weight when I finally stepped on the scale but it was alarming enough that I started doing the 16:8 fast and I’m down about 30 lbs since June 20th. I didn’t adhere to it while I was up north for a week and in Vegas for four days and on some weekends I’ll have a few drinks out of hours, but otherwise I’m sticking to it as best I can and gradually adding more exercise. I did cut way down on my calories so I’m not stuffing my face for the entire eight hours, really paying attention to calorie count. I’m working from home 2nd shift type hours which works out nicely because it’s a good excuse not go out to dinner with friends. I’m not depriving myself of a nice meal or three on the weekend but when I’m home I’m eating really healthy. This week I’ve been more like 18:6, eating starting at 11a and ending at 5p. Drinking coffee before 11 and a lot of water throughout the day.
  8. Not sure if it’s what you’re thinking of but she was on a short lived TV show around that time called “the Don & Bo Show.”
  9. What did he say? They were getting ready to come back from commercial and he was on a hot mic saying some place was "one of the 3 letter homophobic slur capitals of the world." Kansas City of all places
  10. https://670thescore.radio.com/illinois-20-percent-capacity-outdoor-stadiums-phase-4-chicago-not-reopening-yet-cubs-white-sox-bears “The new guidelines for Illinois' fourth phase of its coronavirus reopening plan will affect venues such as Northwestern's Ryan Field, Illinois' Memorial Stadium and Northern Illinois' Huskie Stadium -- but not yet Chicago venues such as Wrigley Field, Guaranteed Rate Field and Soldier Field. Indoor venues such as the United Center will remain closed to fans for the entire state.“
  11. No, it’s gotta be your bull... Wow you have derailed Shut up Richard
  12. Has to be purely financial, all these sports stations have minuscule ratings
  13. I discovered the NWOBHM back in the early '90s when Lars Ulrich put out that "New Wave of British Heavy Metal '79 Revisited" compilation. Great stuff. So many great songs. Highlights- "One of These Days"- Trespass, "Leaving Nadir"- Witchfynde, "If I Were King"- Vardis, "Witchfinder General"- Witchfinder General, "Set the Stage Alight"- Weapon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Wave_of_British_Heavy_Metal_%2779_Revisited Not breaking any new ground here but I guess my top 5 metal songs in no particular order would be "Ace of Spades" - Motorhead "Hallowed Be Thy Name"- Iron Maiden "Supernaut"- Black Sabbath "Angel of Death"- Slayer, although my favorite off that album is "Epidemic" (topical) "Am I Evil"- Diamondhead next 5- "Inner Self"- Sepultura "Mouth For War"- Pantera "Creeping Death"- Metallica "Exodus"- Exodus "Caught in a Mosh"- Anthrax and some death metal songs i dig- "Override of the Overture"- Dismember "Crystal Mountain"- Death "Back to One"- Obituary "Serenade in Lead"- Asphyx "Hung, Drawn & Quartered"- Cancer
  14. Memories of game 5 of the ‘82 ALCS still easily trump all the newer memories for me sadly.
  15. I went yesterday around 4PM. It's on my way home from work so I can't speak as to whether it's worth a special trip but as far as I could tell it's everything that's normally there and it's all 50% off except for game used & authentic stuff. Much more worth checking out than the clubhouse sale IMO anyway. Good opportunity for Christmas gifts as mentioned and maybe a jacket or something that you had your eye for yourself on but didn't want to pay $200 for during the season. I got a couple postseason caps that were normally $28. Still probably overpriced at $14 but I wanted them for collection. Not to beat a dead horse but you really do realize how asinine the regular prices are on some of this stuff. I'll probably go again before it's over. Also I don't know if it's a what you see is what's available kind of thing or if they have more stock that they continually bring out. So keep that in mind if you plan on waiting a few days before going.
  16. There’s a current commercial of hers running where she’s got it kicked down about 100 notches and sounds reasonably normal.
  17. Sorry, no just the WC and DS presale refund
  18. Chase here also. Checked this morning and I got the rest of mine back.
  19. I got my tiebreaker money refunded on 9-30
  20. Wait, so it’s actually going to be called Restaurant To Be Named Later? https://onmilwaukee.com/sports/articles/miller-park-restaurant-to-be-named-later.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  21. Anybody get their money back yet? I got my tiebreaker game refund on 9-30 but still waiting on the WC & DS.
  22. Sounds about right for Milwaukee/ Chicago/ Cleveland (etc.). I could see me convincing my friend to do that at 18-19. Oh alcohol and boredom before those lovely phones you stare at all day now. I had forgotten about that but now remember being at the game, in the left field lower box. So all the action was far away. I just remember looking up and seeing a bunch of the Astros running to running to right field. Not sure when I found out what actually happened.
