  1. In 2018 he lead the league in: Wild Pitches - 17 (2nd place was 11) Hit By Pitches - 12 (Tied technically with two others) So you would want 2017 magic. Ha. Got it. Yes. 2017 would be nice.
  2. I remember when I would hace loved to get Godley from the Diamondbacks. Now, we have him starting, and it's like I just hope he keeps it close. Here's to some what? 2018 magic?
  3. On Gameday but Devin's location looked a bit shaky? Thoughts from those watching? Nice to see him get out of it.
  4. Well, Burnes was on Earth tonight. Offense may have missed its shot early. Long way to go, but that's baseball, I guess.
  5. He cannot hit fastballs. Anywhere. It's strange.
  6. Though Burnes was also on the mound during that catch in San Diego...totally different scenario, though. That I grant.
  7. 3 outs on Woody's last two pitches. Need him to get pretty deep in this one with all the A BP guys going yesterday.
  8. I think part of that was a "run environment" calculus. Looks like runs will be at a premium, so you try to stay out of the double play and hopefully increase your chances of taking the lead on a single. Woody just threw a great pitch, and Omar made the play. Dared the battery to execute, and they did.
  9. Happy for Corey Ray. Like someone said, I don't think he'll come near his top-5 pick status, but he had a nice day. Hope there are a few more.
  10. Winning road trip. Winning record in 9 vs. Cubs in April. One more day to bank a win and get healthier. Nice bounce back.
  11. Hayward sitting on a fastball. Gotta be better located. Alright. Get Sogard, move on.
  12. Hard to believe there could be significant structural damage with Yelich's back, but you never know, I guess. I mean, it's either something rest will fix or something that he'll just have to play through and manage as symptoms flair, right? There's no rush back if rest will help... Hope they get some more concrete answers.
  13. Yeah, really surprised someone isn't giving JJ some sort of shot. So many teams need to cover so many innings that you'd think someone would take a flyer. Maybe asking price was a bit high? I don't think he'd help much near-term, and then it's a matter of $$$. But it is surprising to me that SOMEONE hasn't called...
  14. JP needs to be in you top 3, I think. Right now, I trust him as much or more than anyone not named Hadet.
  15. Boxberger over Feyereisen is even stranger to me than BB over Hader.
  16. Urias gets another day. No Taylor. Hiura sits, Vogelbach at first. Either they're being REAL careful with Luis, or "calf cramp" was a pretty bogus description of his injury. Not sure why you'd start Robertson at short here if Urias is healthy. Maybe to just give him one more shot? He's the worst-performing righty position player at this point, probably, but he's also the one who can play short, right?
  17. Love having the series already won. Would love a sweep even more. Good day to give Taylor a start, no? Give Avi a day. Might see Hiura sitting today too....
  18. It was in Miami in 2019 that Yelich destroyed his knee cap. Forgot about that part. That's some dark stuff there.
